@@didi_mega_dudu Ukucaj skromska igra, pa vidi neku od srednjevekovnih, a ima ih mnogo drugih kao i Polomka i mnoge druge, tako da tvrdnja da je nastalo u 19 veku moze da se uzme kao referenta za oblik kola kao takvog "novijeg" ali kao najstariji oblik kola se uzima uvek srednji vek i najstariji je u Evropskoj civilizaciji kao oblik grupne igle i lancane istrajnosti jedne tradicije u vidu plesa i pokreta. (nesto poput valcerta kod zapadne civilizacije)

5:40 To respond to your question here, you're right, there are many different versions with different tempos as well. At the weddings, it would mostly be at slower pace since it's a formal and conventional event, while for other occasions it can be much faster. Again, there are professional kolo dancers who master dancing it very quickly in the rhytm and it looks super cool, you saw them in this video wearing traditional clothes. @@dusanjaksic8453 Добро , па шта ? Моји су сељаци сишли са планине , па нису могли да верују у какву су средину СИШЛИ . Нису могли да схвате такву количину неваспитања , простаклука , курванлука и изопачености . Ипак ШТА СВЕ ТО ИМА СА КОЛОМ ? Овај УСЕР очигледно нема појма да је још у ромејском (византијском) законику била загарантована једнакост СВИХ грађана . А већ у Душановом законику србско друштво било је подељено на касте . Ми ни немамо израз за РОБА (у облику какав је био у других народа) . Роб = раб од работити или роботити (радити) . Што значи да је Роб онај који ради = радник . Значи да смо сви ми који радимо и данас просто - РОБОВИ . И како просто можеш да закључиш РОБСТВО НИКАД НИЈЕ УКИНУТО , нити ће . Само је променило облик . Не шибају те по гузици , али мораш радиш ако хоћеш ручкаш . Кад ручкаш (ако ниси уморан од робовања) играш коло колко год можеш .

Kolo was even played at Serbian royal parties of 19th and 20th century. It is played even today at national holydays performances and others significant dates. Kings, queens, ladies and high ranking Serbian People danced it as every ordenery serb. ❤🎉

Коло се играло ритуално откако су се Илири спремали у ратне походе. Ту се играло коло и уз чин неког весеља, добре летине, лова, као и венчања, рођења и иницијација мушкараца у одрасле чланове племена. Не заборавимо да је све оно што је нађено у археолошким ископинама Лепенског вира старо чак 15.000 година.

Kolo was played ritually since the Illyrians were preparing for war campaigns. There, the kolo was played and with an act of rejoicing, a good harvest, hunting, as well as weddings, births and the initiation of men into adult members of the tribe. Let's not forget that everything that was found in the archaeological excavations of Lepenski vir is as old as 15,000 years.

I dance only when am very very drunk we usually dancing only two kola one is classic simple and other is vlaško kolo 😂😂😂 I am proud we have folklore group in my village and they are really best in Serbia and from my first neighbour both son and daughter dance in same group and theu travel all over Serbia and other countries of course they know 50 different kola it's beautiful to watch them and they are in traditional Serbian clothing and footwear

Intetesting is that kolo means cirkle, dancer makes and change lt during dance. There is more usings word kolo, par example, kolodar, wich is the eldest srbian kalendar (i think is 7531. year now). Kolodar also makes the cirkle (kolo), begining in the spring, in april and finish when all wether seasons made a cirkle

Kolo is traditional dance of all Balkan countries Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania.... All these countries has its own variations. Its a beautiful tradition and should be carried on. Thanks for keeping interest in Serbian culture, you're da man Mr. Giant 💪

No it's very simple basic everybody can learn in 15min only me idiot forget after one night and when we going to wedding I say"mom teach me again for hundred time" and must tell you girls like man who know how to dance and kolo is good bcs serve for one thing more and that is if you see some girl and you like her best is you enter between take her for hand and dance 😊😊

Serbian Folk Dance so similar wit Irish dance. There was no internet back then so no one copied other. Also if you listen to Serbian folk music it resembles to Irish just need to swap instrument. Also in Serbia old folk music Serbs used Pipe (like Scottish pipe), Frula (small flute), Violin like Irish. Serbs are nor redhead but like to drink a lot. I sometimes think that Celts are kind of Serbs in their soul. If you swap Accordion with Flute in some Serbian folk song it will resemble Irish music.
