Transalpina, the highest road in Romania, often referred to as the "King's Road" or "The Road of the Ceușescu," is a stunning mountain pass in the Carpathian Range of Romania. It stretches over 150 kilometers, making it the highest road in the country, with its highest point reaching an elevation of around 2,145 meters (7,037 feet) above sea level.

Transfăgărășan and Transalpina are closed for 8 or more months to any vehicles due to snow. Only in the warm months you can drive there. Also, tourists should always google if there is any event before they plan an adventure there, to avoid going there when there is some sort of a rally, bike race or movie filming. About the pancakes, what Romanians call "clătite" are best translated in English as "crepes". Rolled and with any filling you can imagine. From chocolate, honey and walnuts, cheese or any king of fruit jam your grandma made that year. I'm glad you reacted to a Romanian video, you have the rarest collection of interesting videos that little to no one reacted to so far. This is a different channel indeed. Bless up!

In english is pancakes but in french style not american in europe. English pancakes are thiker in France & europe are thiner. You can put on them gem/ chocolate etc i put on them also cheese/ ham with chesse not only sweets, sallty too.

Thx for mentioning my suggestion at the beginning of the video. Ranca is also quite spectacular, I live close by and one time when I came down from the mountain all of the landscape below me was covered in clouds and I felt like I had a road in the sky. Quite incredible. I like your reactions, you try to find the positive in all of the places.

Hello there - in Europe we mostly enjoy the "creppe" style of pancakes (or at least in the Balkans) with fruit jams of all sorts (Nutella and banana slices are also a things but traditionally we enjoy it with fruit jams - plum/apricots/strawberry/blackberries etc.)

@@MrGiant for many of us Balkan folks, you cannot visit Grandma without gaining at least 5 kg; also, you'll have to take a wheelbarrow of jars filled with fruit jams and zakuska when you leave, because they always think we'll starve to death for some reason :)))

Up there in the mountains at the end of summer it's almost 30 degrees Celsius during the day and almost 0 at night, so that's why you can see them wearing this even in the summer.

Transalpina se mai numește și drumul regelui deoarece la îndemnul regelui S-au început lucrările , dar S-a realizat prin munca țăranilor romani . Ar trebui sa se numească drumul suferinței și al bucuriei romanilor . Ziua inaugurării lui a fost o zi cu adevărat de fericire și poveste !

ohhh man...Transalpina....you have to drive it to know it. Transfagarasan might be more animated...but when you are up on transalpina and see clouds beneath you....duude...that's awesome, i mean it, i was literally yelling at the clouds "f...k you rain bois". Tech tip, it is more fun to drive it. LE: romanians mostly do not eat"thick" pancakes, eu eat thin ones mixed mostly with jam Speaking of plums, we use em to make jam, "majiun"(unsweeted jam), tuica "something moonshine" and ofc...compot

From what I see in the videos, it would be a super cool experience. I think I would rather those pancakes, the ones here are too think. Its like having rocks in ytour stomach after eating them.

Those are not American pancakes, they are crepes and we have them with fillings like jam, chocolate, sweet cheese and other stuff. My favorite fillings are rose jam, chocolate with bananas and walnut with honey.

@@MrGiant It's very, very nice. We call it Dulceata de Trandafiri. It's not really like a jam but more watery but I don't know another name for it except jam. We call the more solid ones gem (jam) and the more liquid ones dulceata.

@@analoguemonstersthe second season is only available on Netflix Romania and Moldova... Charley tried to get it aired in other countries but Netflix refused....probably it doesn't have lgbtqxwyyy materials, so there's no interest in it for them...

I honestly didn't like their video... Too much talking, too much of filming themselves instead of the scenery, and way too little landscapes.. In a half an hour video they put 2 minutes from the top of the mountain.... In a travel vlog we want to see the scenery, the views from the car, the landscapes, not your faces... but maybe that's just me :)
