I don't get how city areas get more tornadoes (I'm in the uncanny phase 21 zone, in DFW). How does Houston have the most tornadoes? I thought they rarely get any while they worry about hurricanes and floods. Do buildings and people contribute, what?! I thought the number of tornadoes are by region. Wait, is the data actually deaths caused by tornadoes??? Also, those in El Paso are lucky.

The data is the number of tornadoes reported since 1950. And I guess more people reported tornadoes in more populated areas, since back then didn't have very advanced tools to track most tornadoes (my guess at least). And some get more due to their size and geographic position
