It's super duper cringe. 18 year old girl thinks she's an adult (even narrates that she is) and "falls for" her much older teacher, who's obsessed with how smart and not like other girls she is, probably because his wife won't sleep with him and doesn't see him the way he wants to be seen (as a writer rather than a teacher, even though he doesn't write anymore), so she writes some smut for her English class with him modelled after another smut writer and tries to manipulate him into sleeping with her, dragging her best friend who's not-so-secretly in love with her (and also trying to sleep with a teacher 🙄) into her games, and he's so dim that he falls for it, and then she gets upset that he doesn't want her for more than some fun because she's a child and can't offer anything else, and so she turns on him, and he should have known better and completely deserved any negative consequences of his actions (he lies to his boss and says he didn't touch her but they kissed after she threw herself at him), but she also should have known better as a self professed adult and not tried to pursue her teacher, let alone a man old enough to be her father, who incidentally is never around so that explains a lot, and instead she acts like the immature child she actually is. Oh and there's a scene in a shed, that is a bit weird.

Because it was done by a novice director they should got a more experienced director. I don’t think she knew how. Yes it was a woman. But it shouldn’t have been done like that why. It had great potential. But 4/10 out for me.
