I've found that SNSD has the most interesting vocal layering and harmonies out there. Their vocal combination videos are tear inducing. so so beautiful, we'll never get another vocal group like this

omg ive been dying to know who sang the "ah's/oh's" during the chorus in 6:28 and i do hear jessica and sunny and also yoona and sooyoung especially in 6:39/6:49 when there's added voices i think that's where yoona and sooyoung can be heard the most. it's also my favourite part of the song, im obsessed with it idk its just very angelic and mesmerising.

I've been saying this for years but people fail to recognize just how much of a force Sunny is in the group. She's been the main vocalist to harmonized and backed the entire group throughout their career. Many don't seem to recognize her voice if she's not doing the baby high pitched one she's been forced to use. But if you listen clearly to any of their tracks, you hear just how much her voice is prominent in the back harmonizing and supporting everyone from Taeyeon down to Hyoyeon. She's led many choruses and adlibs. Yet analysis and line distribution always gave her parts to the other members. I got tired of correcting them in the comments only to see it being done on the next video. In the beginning of their career a vocal trainer/idol told the broadcast in an interview that the member to look out for vocally was Sunny. He went on to say she was most impressive and her techniques were the most developed of the girls. He then also said her shyness will be her only barrier for success. Teayeon too many times have reminded us that Sunny's the best and her vocal favor is unique, tailoring to fit all their tracks. She continuously chooses Sunny on just about every comeback for this and saying just how impressive Sunny is as a vocalist. I get mad at SM for not giving Sunny much solo lines like the other vocalists of the group. This is the reason many don't see her as a vocalist of the group and place her in 5th spot on their vocal ranking. But me knowing just how talented she she as a vocalist always have her at the top with Jessica. Sunny's skills/techniques as a vocalist is out if this world.

I already knew how prominent Jessica’s voice is in this song, yet gotta admit I didn’t really hear Sunny’s vocals in the back till you filtered it out. Seriously, if TaeTiSeo brought the power and sass to the harmonies, Jessica and Sunny are the backbones to keep SNSD songs sound fresh, hyper feminine and not dated even after all these years. I really do not like how Kpop fans, even majority of Sones, criminally underestimate Sunny’s vocals. If Jessica’s vocals remains sugar sweet and soothing to balance Taeyeon’s powerful voice in every group harmony, Sunny basically has altered her voice in so many ways to backup for everyone in the group, her voice goes perfectly with every single member

My only issue with your analysis is Yoona didn't get background vocal credit on this song. Could it be Seohyun in the Oooh Ooooh and not Yoona? Other than that, this is perfect! And proves Jessica owns this song.
