When his sons were drafted to the Houston Aeros he came out of retirement to join the team! He was written off by many, who thought he was too old to be playing competitively. Through hard work, perseverance, and the loving support of his wife and family, he and his sons managed to prove the critics wrong by winning several championships for the team!

Nice watch, I had not heard of this movie which surprised me. I did my Gr. 3 book report on Mr. Howe and all he had accomplished and named the names he did it with. That was 1980 and he is still one of my faves, what a beauty. I have a picture of me in snow up to my knees in Saskatchewan in 2007 or so, standing by his statue there.

Is that a whiteboard in their kitchen in 1971. I don't think so. The dry erase marker wasn't invented until 1975.
