And its still the same, except Hollywood has new ways to be racist. Africa has a wealth of different mythologies to use in a positive light...but big productions be like, "nah let's Blackify the Romans".. And it somehow seems like a long way with that genre before realistic roles that aren't gangsta / broken home individuals. POC want movies to feel good! Damn

I didn’t like the movie either. Sandra’s character was so bossy and entitled. And the young man was so grateful. He practically bowed down to her. It’s difficult to believe that the real people were like this.

I couldn’t stand Monique’s character’s cruelty in Precious. It made made me so sick. I’m sure there are people like that but I just couldn’t stomach that character.
