The house addition was in full swing and it was time to finalize some design elements.

I respect u coming back, homie, uve taught me how to start my first tank and since I’ve had over 10 builds, I have a 120 g saltwater reef tank (in my WALL) plus a closet for equipment. all thanks to u helping me on my first tank. Keep it up og. For beginners, buy an Rodi water system, it will change everything for salt water systems

Man. Glad to see you. I’ve been out of the hobby for about 5 years but am gonna get back in this year. I remember watching your videos over 10 years ago. Thanks for all the info and help you have provided for your fans! Gonna build a Euphyllia dominate tank on this go around. 50 to 75 gallons. Not sure what fish but definitely want a Flame Hawkfish ( have had them before and love the way they “sit” on the rocks and stare). Peace

I remember watching you way back in 2013 when I started my first saltwater tank. Now I’m 25 and a huge reef nerd with two full fledged reef tanks. Thanks!

What thickness glass did you end up with? I saw your set-up and it got my brain going crazy. We are moving out to Fiji within the next 12 months and I am looking at setting up my dream system. So a drop-off it will be. I've looked at shipping costs and they are crazy so I will be building the Aquarium myself. I have done standard XXL aquariums before but never a drop off. We designing the house to be built at the moment so the aquarium will be a room divider into our office with a dedicated fish room etc. Awesome channel and stoked you back.

I'm about to implement your drainage in the filtration room for my 500g penensula. I had a floor drain installed when the slab was poured, but floor isn't sloped. Is a flat floor with drain a problem for this design?
@mrsaltwatertank6 ай бұрын
water needs to move towards the drain so you'll want some kind of slope. Otherwise it just sits and causes humidity and mold issues
