I salute you Sean ! You are unique because you learned and continue to grow in a challenging and stressful situation with a massive fan base than has gone through the emotional trauma for years. You are a class act. We are not in a place to see great football but that’s not your fault we have had clowns who have destroyed this club so enjoy tonight and the end of season We have been tested and I admit I lost my faith in this club I supported since 1984 We have been so slow to adapt to football changing for better or worse (worse indeed) we need to learn and grow from this. He’s took a lot of flak mainly because of where we’ve been in the league and another ‘relegation’ fight BUT without the points taken away he’s guided a limited team to our best points total in the last few years. He’s the perfect manager to drive us through our current situation and I hope he doesn’t walk away when the season finishes UTFT!!!!

You are right we shouldn't forget the FA. But also we should never forget the directors who over the years have let the club and supporters down. Wit good financial management and television money we could and should have built the new stadium near to the area where the arena is by the Albert Dock. That was a massive wasted opportunity. I think he's doing things as calmly and steadily as possible. The players seem to buy into what he's asking of them. His press conferences and interviews are very measured considering the circus of shite around the club.

Plays a style to suit the players. With a little bit more money, the style will change. Big Sam was the same at Bolton and Blackburn, gradually brought entertaining players in and they were good to watch.

We've been in the top flight longer than any other English club, and for some reason everyone seems to want us to fail and go down. Like Sean said yesterday to a reporter "you were dying for Luton to win and for us to get beaten, and now you're congratulating us on staying up. This isn't my first rodeo." He knows the score, and knows the press are gutted we haven't gone down. That would've been a tasty story for their shit rag papers. Even when our Derby footage was played on MOTD, 80% of it was liverpool moments in the game. Usually always the last team to be featured on that show too. Not sure why everyone seems to want the worst for our special, historic club.... but it makes us more resilient and stronger. COYB x

Stadium naming rights as I remember. Russian business putting up £180m (I think), included in balance sheet then war in Europe writes it off , as unable to trade with Russian business . Try to recover monies to balance books , sell Richalison at bargain price, £20M short. PL =Bingo.
