217 - Linear Fisheries, Hunts Corner Red Letter Session

Күн бұрынFor this video I've ended up on the busy linear fisheries complex and i found a swim on my favourite lake there - hunts corner!! I managed to find a free peg (4) in the middle of the lake and upon arrival things looked optimistic with fish showing all over the swim, but after speaking to the guy in peg 3 he said his mate had not long vacated that swim and blanked for 48hrs!! Anyway as it turned out i had no need to worry as it turned out to be the best session I've ever had on hunts corner!! tune in to see just what i got up to and how i managed such an epic session!!

Hi Chris red letter session indeed that was awesome fishing mate you got everything spot on and reaped the rewards. Great getting runs on camera your even getting them on cue now lol, hunts has been good to you and long may that continue I've a feeling you will be back at some point. Cheers mate. Yeah had several good sessions on hunts now, all bar 1 winter blank! Bit lucky getting runs on film as you cant plan that. But yeah I feel I got everything right and the results followed. Hopefully matty is having a session to match! We'll find out soon enough!

nice one chris, awesome session you had there, remember seeing the photos on FB, just working through my watch list of videos slowly that are backed up, looks nice at hunts corner, only every fished harwicks before, some lovely fish, always so crowded though. But I like the look of hunts, its smaller and more tree lined :)

Sort of... lead on the rig then a flying back lead then a regular back lead. I was only 9 wraps so it's not hard to get it wrong at that range. Cheers buddy 👍🏼👍🏼

How come you've fished middle and right rods very close together? Or is that just the way the video shows?

Yes they was about 6ft apart. Then 3rd rod got moved 6ft other side. It's about keeping your baited area nice and tight for the fish to home in on. As you saw.. it works!! 👍🏼👍🏼

@@CLIPPER1999 anglers such as kev Hewitt and Tom maker fish same style and even tighter and look at their results!! All 3 rods about 12ft from each other is about as tight as I'm comfortable fishing tho, specially when making recasts in the night.

Ahh.... I’ve done well boilie fishing with the throwing stick on hunts. Haven’t had the bottle to do it on St. John’s though but it’s something different for linear 🤷🏻♂️. Nice goatee btw George Micheal would be proud 😂
