I love that you go over many of the pitfalls people fall into when first starting out! Slice only being used on two items, that you can't layer over the holographic, importance of doing test cuts, peeling the mat away from the material, etc. These are an important part of being able to recreate a project without frustrations.

My husband and I have started doing a lot of crafts especially with the Cricut. He really started watching your videos and got me into them as well. The first project I tried was the “wood burning” project. My project was so very basic, but I got the idea of how to do it. It turned out, just not as well as yours. Now, I can get more advanced that I have the basics. Thank you so much for your videos. They are super informative.

@@olivia8979 aww, no worries, I was just kidding anyway. It is a wonderful part of the movie where the mermaid is told by that seagull that a fork is basically a comb, which he calls a dinglehopper. Later in the movie, she ends up looking foolish while trying to look cute for her prince by brushing her hair with one, once she sits at a dinner table with him. 😉 Hope that helps!

How do you keep up your energy? You are always so thorough. You explain basics each time even though you've explained it multiple times before. You are the best teacher. You take the time to edit the videos so there's not a lot of dead space. Each minute of each video has a point to it.

Moving is exhausting! Glad you are mostly settle in your new home. Wow, I didn't know there was "iron on" foil like that. Without a backer I mean. It was cool how it worked with the siser adhesive. This is new to me! But looks like fun and gives a great look. Your shirt turned out so cute! I knew what a dinglehopper was, but it took me a moment. lol I haven't seen Little Mermaid in forever! I have 6 boys, and they loved it too, but my oldest is 39 and my youngest is 25, so a long time ago! lol Hugs, Brenda

Ohh MY GOSH! This is the most thorough tutorial that I have ever watched. Thank you!! A five year old would be able to do this after watching this video. You not only explained the process thoroughly, you got straight to the point. This video is packed with information. You gave us time and temp for all of the different materials. You taught us how to slice. You gave us the cut settings for the different materials and you showed us what side of htv is placed down on the cutting mat…just to name a few things that we learned. It was not only educational, it was very entertaining. I watched it in its entirety and without fast forwarding! 😂😂 But seriously, I really appreciate you. Your videos are always inspiring. I have never heard of Siser adhesive htv,. I am going to order some today. Again, THANK YOU so much!!❤❤
