Hey, new to your channel as I recently started to get into manga and collecting manga (starting out with Aot and JoJo). Having smaller hauls are short and sweet which I don't mind watching. Heck I've been enjoying every one of your vids no matter the length.

Just purchased my biggest haul, i had never spent over 50 bucks at once. i just spent 120. Might not sound as much but this haul is special since its my biggest purchase at once and its a serie i really like and wanted to get up to date. Its we never learn (aka we cant study) . Might not be a berserk or a jojo. But i enjoyed this manga.

I’m really happy you starting picking up comic book formatted manga. I managed to build up 6 short boxes worth of Manga and Manhwa, and it’s a trip trying to find all of the great and/or obscure series that you don’t often see. I now have the entire run of Akira, Vagabond, and Sailor Moon, but I also scooped up books like Area 88, Mai the Psychic Girl, Lone Wolf & Cub, Drunken Fist, Fist of the North Star, Cyber 7, Ghost In The Shell, Blade of the Immortal, Crying Freeman, and Gunsmith Cats all for a quarter each. Also I did the same thing with Golgo 13. I bought most of the volumes in Rightstuf and a week later Takao Saitô passes away. If you can find them, try to look out for the single issues of Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, 2001 Nights, Legend of Mother Sarah, and Mobile Police Patlabor.

I remember the old videos where you just sat in front of a short bookshelf, now you're looking like you're in a whole warehouse of books lol. I respect the hustle.

Ok WOW, this really puts into context how many manga and graphic novels Ryley owns that he'd just pick up EVERY Viz manga published. Honestly, I think you could probably set a Guiness World Record for "Largest graphic novel collection owned by an individual"

Also, in regards to Seraph of the End, it's a great series that I absolutely recommend, BUT the prequel light novels are absolutely essential to the plot and you need to read them at some point. I dont know when exactly you should read them (maybe around Vol 15?), but I had to stop reading the series monthly because I hadnt read the novels yet and was missing important context. Thankfully, Vertical (or Kodansha now?) has released both sets of Guren light novels in English, but the Mikaela light novels are still unlicensed. I think they might not even have a fan translation, but that could be wrong. Anyway, just a heads up in case you plan to binge the series and you start feeling like you're missing information (because you are). Oh, there's also a manga adaptation of the 1st Guren light novel series, but it's not been licensed either nor is it even finished. Probably better to just read the source material.

Speaking of series what is hard to get: several Yowamushi Pedal volume is out of print now. Volume 10 for example. So if you want to continue you should get volume 7-18 asap!

I sympathize so hard with the Reborn search. It's been my number 1 priority series to collect and finding any volume at a reasonable price is extremely rare. I'm just so glad I got volume 16 at Barnes and Noble back in the day and held on to it. Now I have to get 4-15 myself. Good luck on your search!

If you decide to read steins;gate 0 please watch steins;gate season 1 or play the visual novel if you already haven’t, as 0 is a sequel to and the continuation to steins;gate. It’ll make the experience a lot more enjoyable. Definitely one of my favorite animes/ visual novels.

Man this is amazing, I started collecting Berserk the deluxe editions, and collecting Junji Ito's works and JoJo's, and Vagabond is 100% complete for now. of course I'm waiting for Vagabond to come off it's indefinite hiatus whenever that will be.

I always enjoy watching these. Myself I'm getting around 10+ volumes each month that I preorder for currently running series in my country. I don't have much spare money to get anything outside that so these days I rarely buy any already finished series, but after I change my job I'll hopefully be able to spend more money on my hobby. My collection is 142 volumes strong right now. I need to buy a new shelf! It's probably been reccomended to you, and I can't keep up with every video, so I'm sorry if you already adressed this, but I really recommend Tokyo Revengers. Quite a fun series!

As a Monster Hunter fan, I happily stumbled upon the Flash series. I got the first two volumes from ebay for about retail price. By the time I read them and decided to collect the whole series, I was devastated to know the crazy prices people are asking for. Though I don't like the print format of the Spanish release, I guess I need to settle with that for now. I go through the trouble of mentioning all this because is a series I would recommend to you and if I'm not mistaken, you know Spanish so I don't think you'll be having a problem with that lol

But I didn’t buy anything the month before because of no buy. First one all year so I am proud of myself. I definitely need to get on the Yu-Gi-Oh train ASAP I love the anime and I have the first couple volumes of the manga. Out print sucks

3rdly, oh yeah I love Vigilantes. It depends on how it ends, but I would go so far as to say I prefer it to the main series. And unlike Smash and Team-Up Mission, it's actually canon, so that's great.

Since you mentioned Viz quality on a few of there releases, I’m wondering what you think of the Shonen Jump titles? Haven’t seen anyone mention this but every volume I bought have had either the cover or spine overlapping and most times the cover is shorter then the paper, so the pages are sticking out in front. Considering the price I think that’s terrible quality… It happened on Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen and Kaiju no. 8.

I've just started my manga collecting adventure, with the '35th Anniversary Akira Box Set'. I'm now looking to get the BLAME! series. It's quite confusing though. There seem to be different releases. I believe the box sets are Japanese language only. There are two other series, one of 10 volumes and one of six volumes, which are released in English. I've checked through your video list, but couldn't see any reference to BLAME!. I'm new to your channel, so not sure what you collect, but if you are familiar with this manga, do you have any recommendations as to what I should be thinking of buying. Many thanks...
