The song and music video is very heavily inspired by Sweeney Todd. The singer (Andy Biersack) is a very big fan of Sweeney Todd. I first listened to Black Veil Brides six years ago with In the End which is a really good song. I also really like Coffin, Fallen Angels, Knives and Pens, Rebel Love Song, Saints of the Blood as well as others of their songs.

This song was awesome. And the video was insane. I love BVB they've been around for 10 years, so lots of music to explore. Devil is one of their newer vids and Saviour II (but it's skow). The Vengeneance is killer and would be a great one for you to check out.

How could you not know Sweeney Todd, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton made a movie of the musical in 2007 and the original musical came out in 1979

I love BVB, they started out heavy in their career, mellowed in the middle, and now with this one they are leaning more into the heavy again. And BVB and FIR are very similar. Andy and Ronnie are friends. Andy has even appeared (Bad Girls Club) and sung with Ronnie (Asshole). And the drummer from BVB was in the FIR song "Drugs". So in a way you have reacted to Black Veil Brides before you just didn't realize it, lol.
