Nice job! I have a 2003 Liberty that was not broke, but I modified the command center dome lights with RED lEDs. I used red because I have a nighttime delivery service and I need to read all manner of script, while preserving my acquired night vision. Commando style! Now I would like to suggest that next time you need to remove those mounting clips because of clearance probs. due to thickness of mounting surface, you could also consider using your already staged moto-tool to shave some material from the inside surface, to achieve the proper clearance , thus retaining the designed friction fit of the fixture. Do both the black wires go to the same connection then the yellow on it’s own on the switch ?

Alright so I just wired in a switch to my overhead lights as well because mine were broke too. But those over heads only work when I have the dome light switch on, on the dash, almost like there’s not constant power to the overhead console? Thought it was weird. Don’t know if there is a fix to that or if I need to run I wire with constant power to it

Good video but “ya just flop that down or whatever” to turn a dome light on? Doesn’t work for me. Dome light activation should not be impeded by have to complete a task other than pushing a switch, sorry but no.
