Today in the NCAA Football 14 Kalispell Dynasty we face the #1 ranked team in the nation. We haven't played well defensively the last two games. That's a bad sign entering a game against the defending Heisman Trophy winner, and a very good quarterback.
Here in the Kalispell NCAA football 14 Teambuilder Dynasty we embark on a new journey, as we look to build a new football program from the ground up. This will be the ultimate challenge, as we recruit, and fight our way from being a brand new school in a small city.

Wow man, I can't even be upset at this performance. Kalispell looked like someone had taken a serving of my famous Spider 2 Y Banana cream pie, and dumped it down their pants. Jacoury Daye plays like he's out of this world, man; forget Matt Damon, Jacoury Daye should've been in The Martian. I tell ya, he breaks ankles more than when I saw my brother Jay fall while dancing at my wedding, man. I don't think I've ever seen a receiver as small as him be so good at running G 33 Carbon Footprint Sprinkle Salamander Drill Fort Rocketship in my life, that's usually reserved for the 6'5 receivers. Marcus Calhoun needs to have a statue built outside the stadium, because that guy is something else. A guy his size returning an interception 87 yards just simply blows my mind, man. He looks like he was built in a laboratory, forget RoboCop, Calhoun is RoboStop, for stopping the opposition's progress. In that case, I guess Jacoury Daye would be RoboChop, because of all the clipping penalties he gets called for. You just can't do that, man; the only time you should clip is with a stack of papers or when folding laundry. Someone teach this man some life lessons, I tell ya.

First things first Cane, I love your videos. Win or lose, they are always entertaining, even though I get upset at the playcalling sometimes. However, I do have a couple observations from someone who has been playing NCAA games since '04-'05. 1st observation: When you are an obviously inferior team against a great opponent, you need to take your chances when you get them. Your first possession, 4th and short inside the 30, you go for that every. single. time. You won't get them all that often. Either a FG or not converting, you're still down. After Washington scored twice, you were down two scores, and yes, you would have been had you not gotten the 4th down conversion. However, had you tried and made it, you had a chance to be at 1 score game there. 2nd observation: Similar to 1. When you are obviously inferior, you need to take advantage of the chances you get. You got the ball back in the 2nd quarter with only a minute left on the clock, yes, but you had all three time outs. Use the timeouts, take some chances, try and matriculate the ball up the field and give yourself a shot for a hail mary. You know in this game scoring in a minute is absolutely possible, especially when you have weapons like Archer and Daye. It seems like you were just running the clock out (but you were passing, so I'm not really sure what you were hoping to accomplish). 3rd observation: Clock management with the lead. You had the lead with 5:45 left in the game. I am not knocking the INT because you got hit which effected the throw. I am wondering why you are snapping the ball with 23 seconds left on the playclock on 2nd and 3 and calling a pass play in the first place. Milk the clock down to one, run the ball, keep the clock rolling. My first season with UMass I was playing a team I had no business being in the game with. I play 7 minute quarters. I got the ball 20 seconds into the last quarter down by 2. I ran the clock down every play, ran the ball (with Walker, Benson, and Hawthorne, you have triple option possibilities, which I saw you do quite well this game), and ended up kicking a FG with 27 seconds left. the ball never changed possession and I killed an entire QUARTER. You weren't moving the ball horribly on the ground, especially from your shotgun sets. Again, I'm not going to knock your overall play calling, your interceptions ( anyone who says they haven't made those bad throws is full of $hit). I thoroughly enjoy your content and I have learned quite a bit about mistakes I make. For instance, I use to be horrible about using my outside receivers. I was a slot/TE whore. Watching you, I picked up a couple ideas that I've incorporated. Keep doing what you do and best of luck. Being from Montana myself, I want Kalispell to succeed!

4) is BS. Benson's obviously a better goal line back. 2) Effective screens require athletic o-linemen and an elusive/speedy RB. I'd hardly say this is a team built for screens.

The end result is a heartbreaker, but the overall picture is something worth remembering. This was a game that Kalispell had no business being competitive all game in, but they were. The Washington rematch wasn't just meant to happen because of the team's core being seniors; it was also to see how much the team has improved. The defense *finally* showed up when it mattered with a key of big plays and great playcalling that took Browning out of a good rhythm and made Gaskin invisible. Jacoury Daye and Roscoe Sheridan are nucleus players to build the offense around. The flashes we've seen here are what's in store for Kalispell in a few seasons. This is going to be a scary team to play against and this is a team that's a few blue-chip defensive prospects away from being a title contender. Embrace the scrappy underdog role and embellish in it now; in a few seasons, Kalispell won't be the underdog, they'll be the thoroughbred leading the pack. This is easily the most memorable game in the series and an important game that should mold what the future of Kalispell football will look like. The loss stings, but you still won in the biggest way possible: You now know that Kalispell's on the rise.

Nevada's going to be tougher to beat this year but it should still be a fun game. Davenport didn't overrun his man in deep coverage, huzzah! Sheridan looked really good today and the defense showed huge improvement. Sometimes it takes a close loss like this to lift a team's spirits, can't wait for the rest of the season

The way Washington played, Kalispell should have won the game, especially considering Kalispell only allowed 8 points in the second half, off a turnover, but alas Kalispell couldn't pull it off this week, but likely will be really good on conference play, also good to see Benson get some carries, as a senior he should be getting touches every game, especially in short yardage situations

Great game. I'd just say treat every game like this game. Mentality is such a big part of football, even in video games. My coach often comes into games already thinking about resting starters in Q3 and we struggle to take the lead. Games when he comes in and wants to punch teams in the mouth early and often are our best games. Try to carryover that mentality you showed today. Adjustments, smart football, great game by you, Cane.

Cane, use the comeback route. It is your friend. Also, use motion, it helps. One more thing, run smart routes. You could've gotten that ball to Daye for the first if you didn't have him unnecessarily run 3 yds past the 1st down before his route break.

My only real complaint today is that it really stood out how late you throw the ball compared to when receivers make their cuts. I feel like Archer and the crossing tight ends really suffered today because of this, but you also could have gotten that last ball to Daye out earlier since you knew beforehand that was all you were banking on.

Cane, you get a lot of crap from people, but coming from a guy who has played this game a lot, games like this happen against top-tier teams with rebuilding programs, and I think, offensively and defensively, you called your best game in the series. Great call to change it up from man to zone in the red zone on that drive in the first half. And that pick in the second half, I've thrown many like that out of the pocket with not-so-good QBs, so I know it was a legit pick! Question: Do you change aggression on tackle or coverage during the game at all?? Just a question. Might be the reason for their halfback tanking over your guys a few times. Keep up the good work!

Exactly, especially with shading coverage against those no-huddle offenses. It's a feature that's nice to have, but impossible to always to use since you can't change it on the field. And I applaud you for not using CONSERVATIVE catching with a rebuilding team that can't catch. You're a better man than me lol.

On 4th and 9, the decision to go empty when Walker hasn't been able to breathe all game amazes me. Not only does Cane go empty, but he runs a bunch of long-developing routes. Really, really, really bad playcall. Keep a back in to block, and run at least one hot route in case of the blitz. From a DC perspective, if I see empty on 4th and 9 I am blitzing 6 guys and making the WR's beat my guys one-on-one. Would've been nice to see the comeback, but that playcall had zero sense behind it. Maybe next time #GoWarhawks

Cane... I love this series and your content but this is almost getting predictable. You need to call better pass plays with better routes. you should've kicked your two extra points instead of leaving two points on the board. AND WHEN YOU HAD THE LEAD JUST RUN THE BALL. Right when you got the ball back on that drive I said out loud "here comes a pick" and sure enough that's what happened.

I recall quite recently Cane losing because he ran and was overly conservative. Lost two games in a row that way. I may have ranted about his pick 6 but I was playing my RTG series yesterday and threw a retarded pick 6 and also lost my game. I have to give him a pass on this game. I saw a few missed open receivers even on plays where he chose to throw into double coverage. Overall, I think all his mistakes in this game were legit.

Bro it seems as if we're getting set up for upsets every game. I honestly feel like y'all should've won that game. FIRST off get your inside zone game going early with Hawthorne and Sheridan. They're strength is between the tackles getting north & south in a hurry. There's no reason you should be trying to stretch the field east to west with Hawthorne, he doesn't have the speed. SECOND, just because Rashad Williams is in town doesn't mean you forget about Castillo of hell even Whitfield. Castillo is your big body in short yardage throws, Williams & Whitfield provide medium to deep range threats. THIRD, get Jacoury Daye & Sonny Archer in SPACE!! Screens, flare routes, triple options!! Use your talent!! Brooks has to see a few more targets, he's a deep threat! If I could play with this team just one game Cane, or let me call the plays hahaha

Well this didn't go like I wanted it to, but how about a new top tier challenger for Kalispell. #wewantbama

Safe is death. Loved the play action call. Just should have gone to the open man.
