I think the patriots would be the best team for you to do a series on this year, can you bring back the dynasty with an incompetent offense and an aging defense in the hardest division in all of football. Is Mac Jones the answer? Can you build a competitive team before players like Judon regress to a role player?

I just feel like we just watched that with the titans franchise. Malik Willis was in the same position as Mac Jones. (Madden wise) literally same situations. It would just be the same we just watched.

I vote for Falcons mainly cause you've already done Rams,Raiders, and Panthers and we just spent a whole franchise in the AFC South. And it's been a bit since we have been back in NFC. Falcons could be fun to build up

I think you already did the Cardinals and Texans rebuild, so I vote for a fresh team. I think the toughest rebuild would be the Patriots since that division is stacked and Bill likes to get players from the Goodwill store. Next would be the Raiders since they're in the same division as KC and LAC (was there a Raiders rebuild recently? I forgot). I'd like to see you do a lets play series with the Colts and Anthony Richardson, but I wouldn't necessarily want to watch the rebuild. They have a solid team. The Rams and Panthers are pretty putrid on paper, but I think the bigger challenges are for the first two teams I listed

@@brendonbuffaloe8830 buddy, they were a 7-10 team last year and have a rookie QB this year. Miles Sanders is replacing CMC. Their best offensive player is Adam Thielen. Ok maybe putrid is a bit strong, but they're a step just above that. But playoff roster? Sorry, i don't see it.

The teams that I like the most for a franchise are the Raiders and Packers. Both teams are relying on their stars and make you choose between selling and trying to win in a fairly tight window with a questionable quarterback situation.

*There haven't been many NFC franchise rebuilds here lately. At the very least, I would request avoiding a second consecutive AFC South team. *It's always nice to do this with a new franchise quarterback (Brian Nava, Taequan Layton, Nataki Mason, etc.), so it would be nice to pick a team that has a veteran and/or fill-in starter right now. (Also, to be blunt, I'd rather not have a real quarterback's reputation be tarnished here if Cane can't lower his interception totals.) The Rams would be great for that, and they look like undoubtedly the top option for a complete rebuild from scratch. *The NFC South is a division that's currently open for a team to take over. The bright side would be getting to see those teams develop, being led by young quarterbacks like Young, Ridder, and whoever replaces Brady. The downside is that it may be less of a challenge.

Do a team that has an established Veteran QB. A team that needs help around that guy. IE Chargers(I know this sounds crazy but Keenan Allen is aging, Ekeler may not stay/won’t be resigned, chargers are not in a great cap spot to sign Mike Williams.

Quite the opposite. The Patriots won 6 super bowls as the most boring team in football. Mac Jones has already hit his ceiling, and while Gonzalez is awesome, the Patriots will always be better in real life than in Madden because Bellichick gets the most out of his players

Probably leaning towards either the Rams or Steelers for mine. Rams are honestly a year, 2 max, from full bottom of the barrel rebuild. Kupp is 30, trading AD to get more picks is likely to happen, and can Stetson Bennet come in after Stafford and be ‘The Guy’? A lot of questions marks in LA

Personally I would really enjoy you picking Arizona in order to play with Murray and Brown as they were tremendous players for OU in college. Another good choice would be the Falcons just as it would be a bit more video gamey than the others. Finally, I would love a Vegas series as they are my team and a return to greatness in any form would be welcome. Regardless of your choice, take care and I look forward to the many videos yet to come. Hopefully Madden 24 is not the 💩 show that Madden 23 was.

I agree with these teams. If I end up getting this game I'm probably gonna rebuild the Bears. they have alot of boom or bust players on offense and their team really lacks identity. combine that with the fact that the Packers are probably gonna be worst than they've been in the last 20 years and they got a chance to compete for tops in the division.

I decided to do the Saints, I was originally gonna do the Bucs but they had too many good players. The saints have guys like Jordan and Davis who are good but old and some others too. It’s my first year doing a true rebuild so I needed an easier team cuz I always tried to do a rebuild but I always got bored and quit

Im doing a Rams rebuild and 2 games in I want to end it all. Donald is a nonfactor with the base sliders and Stafford has terrible accuracy for some reason, dbs are horrific as well and the schedule is brutal. Seahawks, Niners, Bengals, and Eagles all in the first 5 weeks. Hoping this QB in the draft im scouting is the savior because I am NOT having fun so far haha

I'm hoping that if Cane does a franchise in Madden 24, I vote for the Commanders and Falcons as both NFC teams are in interesting situations both in game and IRL. For example, the Commanders have new ownership and would be interesting on how to handle the QB situation with Sam Howell.

Tampa would be a real tough one. Especially on the offensive side. QB, and RB are weak. OL could use some work. WR are good but older and youll need to find new talent anyways. Defensively it could use a retool as well

Considering you did the AFC south last year, stay away from them this year. The Steelers would be a good fit. Loaded division, weak roster but potential with the QB,WR,and RB. Not to mention that defense has great trade pieces in Minkah and Tj if it’s something that needs to be done

Cane.. You don’t have to turn off the progression fatigue if you manage your practices every week. During the season, you need to keep it at half pads and towards the end of the season maybe select split or backups so you’re starters are more rested.

There may be workarounds, but considering this isn't a proper wear and tear system and simply focuses on fatigue only, I don't think it's worth messing with. It doesn't accomplish what I believe Franchise was missing.

The cpu doesn’t do that tho, the cpu will do full pads bo matter what. That’s why during the playoffs the cpu wont have any starters

Cane, what do you think of how season sim stats look like? I've noticed a steep decline in passing yards/TDs but a large increase in QB carries?? Also I think sack numbers have dipped significantly

In a lot of sims I see crazy high sack numbers in my current 23 league. Guys constantly in 23+ range. The records been broken a few times by the cpu. I really am hoping this game won't let me down as much as ivthink it will.

After a lot of experimenting the sim stats look better but there are still major issues. Good things: Multiple QBs aren't throwing for 5200+ yards, 50+ TDs a season Completion % and Y/A seem to be mostly accurate and often varied (last years was too generous to QBs) More realistic injuries Running back stats are better (Backup RBs don't get 15+ TDs as often, top RBs get realistic totals but there are still to many with 1k) QBs run more often and get rush yards and TDs at a more realistic rate (Still WAY too playbook dependent) Sack numbers are consistently realistic for league leaders (Last year players would get 20-40 very often. This year it's almost right) Tackle numbers are more realistic for league leaders Targets for receivers are now occasionally shown in a graphic when playing games Bad things: Forced Fumbles and Fumble Recoveries remain an issue in sim (League leaders have 2-3. In real life they have 5-9) Pass Deflections are always extremely low in sim (Top CBs get 5-10 while in real life they get 15-20) There are some issues with TFLs/Sacks (Myles Garrett had 42 TFLs and 5.5 sacks once in my sim!?) Safeties don't get enough picks and LBs get too many (Still!) No standout WRs (Better than last year when WRs were getting 2000+ but now the league leader gets 1350 and a QB wins OPOY) Long runs and receptions are still often too low (eg. 1,200 rush yards, long of 9) A lot of randomness in QB accuracy (picks and comp % vary significantly by season eg. 57%-71% in one season) Playbooks still matter significantly for records and don't fit players (Receiving back with 10 catches, Pocket passer with 150 rushes)

@maddenmoments8748 the QB running is a bit of a double edged sword. I see guys like Kirk Cousins and Aaron Rodgers setting career highs in rushing attempts but I also finally see Justin Fields and Josh Allen running the ball in sim. I guess we can't get the best of both worlds 🤷
