I wrap the body coil , never would I use 2 coils as my MRI is old , burn , but your new system amazing I would go for it 🙏 tremendous job Bac

I use superman positioning, with body 18 and table coils. This mainly beacause we only have avanto with 60 cm gantry opening ( it can be a problem for most pasient to get the forarm close to the isosenter and you will end up with bad images and unnecessarily problems). With short scantimes, this is 9/10 not an issue for the pasient. Ofc if the pasient suffer from shoulder pain, we always try other posistions like head first supine). And as alway, good video! 👍👍

Supine with hands down. Although this isn’t scan performed often in my Trust. But I found it really interesting I could use two ultra flex coils for coverage. But of course challenging when dealing with a bigger BMI. But this was very educational. Thanks Bac!

i would do it like a superman position and i always feel bad for the patient knowing its very uncomfortable. other positions not possible for me since the scanning bore size is to small.

I use the neutral position, forearm, elbow, arm by the side in the true anatomical position. I move the patient towards the unaffected side to ensure the part being scanned is close enough to the isocentre. If it's the forearm or elbow that I'm scanning, I use foam pads, immobilisation pads to raise it up a little _ this aids in getting the FOV within Isocentre. In scanning the arm, I don't need this maneuver.

Sir I have a question about mri. A T1 SE scan is made with the following settings: TR 500ms, TE 20ms, matrix 192, FOV 256, NSA(NEX) 5, scan time 8 minutes. The lab technician is dissatisfied with the scan because the time is much too long. He wants to improve this, and negatively affect the other image quality and properties as little as possible. Reason which parameter (FOV, matrix, TR, TE, NSA, slice thickness, flip angle) you would adjust for this and which value you would choose for this. Only one parameter may be modified. Should I change the NSA(NEX)?
