It’s a firmware thing…then…. My remote didn’t want to connect today. Here’s what I did: 1) There was a firmware update for the remote and the camera..I updated both. 2)I deleted the remote from my x4 3) Restarted camera and started the pairing process. The remote and camera instantly paired and work great. Good luck!

This just worked for me. Updating the firmware on both devices did the trick.

@@Shotmax-t8q Maybe you should update again. This worked for me yesterday. When I tried today it connected instantly. It's working perfectly.

My 2 devices do exactly the same. They DON'T connect. My insta360 x2 connected easily.
