I was just telling my people that this song is IMPOSSIBLE not to start dancing near the end…… and i think we have seen the first mr. Lboyd dance during a reaction. History has been made. Its not much……. But if you can see it build and at the end he is definitely “dancing” in his own way. Cheers

You know, I stumbled on this song because of a Facebook Reel of the TikTok choreography challenge. And yeah, the choreography challenge is cute. But watching the artist in this video, there’s a sort of discordance in his body language that turns it from a catchy little line dance to an almost nihilistic commentary on our society. Maybe it’s just me, but this video left me with the sense that the “narrator” of the song is aware that he’s using the alcohol and bar culture as a temporary escape from the relentless grind of his life, but he’s given up on anything getting better. “If this is all there is in life, I may as well be drunk.”

Such a vibe. Instantly reminded me of Last Last by Burna Boy which samples He Wasn't Man Enough by Toni Braxton. FUGGIN LOVE Burna Boy and he's a great artist, and I really like the song Last Last, and sampling He Wasn't Man Enough/Toni Braxton was genius. It's one of her best-selling songs. Same for Tipsy. My best friend had stage 3 colon cancer and we found out her husband of 20 years was cheating on her while we were waiting her to get out of surgery and he was late, aka “caught up at work”….the girl he was cheating with found out about his wife and her cancer and she messaged me and spilled ALL the tea!!! I really like the video as well. It's simple, and maybe im seeing something that isn't there. Shaboozy seems a little down at the start, and as the song progresses, the energy of the folks in the background boosts Shaboozy's energy / mood, and he looks like he is having a good time at the end. This song is a vibe.
