The hook grows on you. He made a video and IG post explaining that he wrote this song and the ones to follow when he was in a deep depression. He’s since had a lot of therapy.

Yep, it literally says it in the description of the song on Hopsin's channel. I kind of wish more people would analyze that part of the song, to me that is the whole "counter" they keep waiting for Hopsin to battle against his demons with. Basically that you need to create space between your thoughts and yourself. To remember that thoughts are nothing more than simply that. It's okay to have bad thoughts as long as you understand they're not real, it's only when you let them become real do they destroy you... I think that was the speech that helped Hopsin get out of that dark place.

He said these upcoming songs, Alone with Me and Your House included, were written during a period of extreme depression in his life, but now he is looking forward to life and has a new gloom in his soul. He's doing much better

You really should do all of the ill mind tracks in order. They don’t really necessarily need to be in order but I think it would be cool for you to see his growth. I gotta say that I attempted suicide twice. I never want to be in that state of my mind where the pain is so strong that ending my life is the only option. I've been in crowded rooms, but yet felt alone. Anytime I feel myself going down that path, I tend to listen to comedy or uplifting music to fight the mindset.

You've gotta check out Hi-Rez's international cypher as well as Crypt's youtube cyphers, poppin cypher and cookout cypher. I'm sure you'd like them and I would love to hear your thoughts on them. You'll get to experience a lot of artists you wouldn't know about otherwise! Definitely one of the best reaction channels on KZfaq. Hop and Joyner Lucas have a friendship Joyner was an opener for Hop in 2016 then the next year he dropped im not Racist which we all know he blew up on while Hop started his dip there was a 2 day beef between them when Hopsin said he could beat Joyner in a rap battle bur as of today they are friends

I’ve attempted multiple times…until I became a Mom. In the past I was pissed that they’d literally bring me back, even though I knew how bad it would hurt my only family member (my Dad). And then that anger at myself for even considering to be that selfish, the guilt, the sadness…. It’s this weird and sick mental cycle that I went through for years. I still have the thoughts randomly, and I can’t believe I can honestly say that they aren’t urges anymore….I may have created my son’s life, but he definitely saved mine. Feeling like you’re stuck in a life with 0 purpose and 0 “reward” (which, to me the ultimate reward is just to be genuinely happy), it’s a sick world to live in. Still working on it and probably will forever be, but if anyone reads this right now and can relate, /please/ believe me when I tell you I don’t even have to know you to be genuinely happy that you’re still here and able to read it. 😊

He said he was gonna be releasing all the dark music he wrote when he was in depression... so this is part of that he doesnt really believe that Joyner, Kendrick, or cole are better then him... I think it was jus when he was stuck in his depression they were thoughts that went through his head... but all us hopsin fans know hopsin is better then all them dudes... hop a goat always gone be a goat and has been in my top 5 for more then 10 years n even during his breaks to better himself he has always stayed there.

It might be a bit of a reach...but I think when Hop said "people never know what they have until it's LOST" I think it might be a nod at his feature he just done with NF which was also called "LOST".
