If there is ever a fire inside of a dryer it won't last long at all. That lint catches fire so quick it won't actually do any damage at all. Also there is alot of safety thermostats that prevent the dryer from heating if the temperature reaches 280 to 300 degrees.

@Mark-nu3us Yah. But dryers aren't the cause. It's the neglect to clean the lint in the first place. That lint inside the wall is like a tinder box for sure.

They’d constantly just talk about how morally better and put together they were and how bad they thought literally anyone outside the house was. I could tell after the first day their friendly invite to live there was a weird fake projection and kept to myself. First day doing laundry realize the dryer isn’t working. Friend is standing right there who has lived there for 3 years at the point and chuckles “heh yeah dryers broken but our dumbass capitalist racist landlord won’t come fix it😈” I swear to god he actually said that unthinkably retarded sentence for a rich fat white kid from the suburbs to say about his on campus high end university “apartment” (they’re basically dorms) any he goes on to continue rambling about his “epic” liberal parents bought him a medical weed card and give him a $200 weed allowance every week to get high even though he had no medical issues besides a rash from not showering. While I’m ignoring him I pull the biggest fucking wad of lint I’ve ever seen in my entire fucking life. It looked like someone shoved the inside of a pillow into the filter vent. I could’ve worn that as a fucking toupee and no one would’ve noticed. I was in complete shock and disbelief as I held it up to him with my mouth open. He laughed again and in a forced voice trying to be funny he went “lmao our land lords gonna be pissed now that we have proof it was broken” I had to fucking scold him about how close we were to dying with that much lint in a dryer in the middle of a cold, dry, below 0 winter. He would run the fucking thing on the highest settings over and over all day throwing brat attacks that his clothes weren’t dry or some dumb shit. He kept trying to say he totally knew about dryer vents but it just slipped his mind for 3 fucking years apparently. I told him I knew that was bullshit and how he was one of the most incapable people I’ve ever met. And these again were people that portray themselves outwardly as “more put together, grown up, and capable than anyone else.” The people that try to seem like they know what’s up are usually retarded and will probably end up destroying your life with how fucked up theirs is

Im genuinely glad that the house is still standing and a noise is all that happened. I wouldn't wish a house fire on anyone.❤ Mine did not start the same way when I was a kid but seriously im telling you, I'm glad it wasn't worse for her!
