Astreon's Iron Ward is +2-4 Paladin Combat Skills, not +2-4 Offensive Auras. I'm surprised that website got it wrong, lol. I think a good roll is A-tier; great weapon to use on ubers. :)

I wish they'd allow Indestructible uniques to roll eth. It'd allow a bunch of stuff to be viable without being overpowered.

Found a 30 cold damage, 39 lightning and fire resist death's fathom from pindle yesterday. I'm blown away at how good it is and how lucky i got. I'm still so happy getting it lol

Cool content. I would love to see the same tier list in which you differentiate between eth and non-eth version of the melee weapons. Especially for death cleaver that makes a huge difference.

Earthshifter is one of the best weapons for hybrid druids. It's often main weapon of ss+arma build weapon.

The earth shifter and stormspire I think are really cool. Character creation for the shifter may have been hurt a bit by the fire claw change though since the synergy bonuses don't match up anymore for fissure. Still those caster characters that can also use attacks make for a lot of fun gearing up and playing

This is a great showcase of how the game has evolved past the initial design philosophy. Most of these items could stand to be buffed directly, as well as had the stat requirements reduced to more reflect the current state of stat builds. I know LLama has said it in the past but at one point (I think it was 1.10) monster HP was buffed but weapon and armor values were not buffed proportionately, so by doing that now it might help justify the stat requirements of Elite Bases.

About the fathom, you're right. My blizz sorc has an orb with 3 cold, 3 blizz, 2 facets and it doesn't do as much as dfathom. That thing is nuts

I would love to see some of the runewords rebalanced. Spirit Shields should be +1, 25 FCR max, halve the Vit and mana and ~30 to 35 rez. Same for Spirit sword.....

The big problem with poison dagger is once you get the synergies it always a lower DPS than the AOE poison nova.

Are all TC87 from post 1.10 ? Looking at uniques in the context of their patches could be interesting. 1.00, 1.07 (last classic only?), 1.09 and >1.10

The way to make Tyraels might an awesome armor would be like giving it a unique Aura like Salvation aura(like azurewrath has Sanctuary aura) or something similar...would make it a great armor for mercs etc even for certain character builds...

I used Ghostflame for my Avenger Paladin in PVE Parties and it was quite useful there but it is still not higher than a C Tier

Hi, do u know if they fixed terrorized Meph TC and Loot Table ? Nothing special dropped to me by far.

I know it would be kinda crazy to do so, but I actually would like them to make the next season like “season of the mute” or something, real basic seasonal effect. Runewords don’t work. The runes still drop, you can put them in items, just you only get the base effect of the rune. Everything else stays the same. Terror zones, sunders, etc. like what’s the worst thing that could happen? People don’t play the game for 3 months? It sounds fun.

I'm running a GF & BK CB build while I wait for a Lo rune to drop (got every other rune...). It's actually pretty fun, and still pretty strong!

I enjoyed rocking the Tyreals on a barb and a sorc before. All their other gear was ultra gg so it made up for the Tyreals and I did really well in all situations. It does give you some nice mods. In some situations it was nice having the rest in peace, cannot be frozen, faster run walk, and the def, strength, and res are all great. My sorc had a 5-5 light facet it hers, and the barb had a 40/15 in his.

Tyrael's might should have Might aura when equipped

D2 gameplay in a nutshell, since 20 years: 1) make a cold sorc, then play to hell (the complete game content) in 2 days 2) farm nm meph, hell meph, ancient tunnels (in that order) and lk runs until you are almost brain dead. only hunt the 30 or so items that every class uses because all other uniques, sets, runewords, rare/magic items are completely useless 3) make one of the following: hammerdin, javazon, smiter. do some stupid shit like cows, cs, ubers or something otherwise meaningless until your brain liquifies and oozes out of your ears 4) make some super shitty gimmick builds (see recent zeal paladin videos) who stand no chance in hell except you boost them with a cold sorc to like lvl 85 and give them super expensive end game items you farmed in step 2 and 3. do this until you are almost dead out of boredom 5) wait for ladder reset and start all over again at step 1)

Wish you could zoom in the window so there wasn’t any blank white space on the borders, as it’s impossible to see the letters on a mobile browser.. even after changing from 320p to 720p resolution. On a pc I think you can zoom the contents of a browser by holding down the Ctrl key and wheel upwards or backwards on your mouse.

nerfing spirit to +1 to all skills instead of 2 like they did in PD2 was the right amount of fixing so the item isint just BIS forever while the rarest piece is just a 4 socket monarch. What a terrible design flaw

I really wish that they make teleport more accessible. It's so heavily important that Enigma is literally best in slot for 90% of the builds. Put it on Tyraels or on any of the super mega rare but just not good enough items.

On tyreals might, they should add +1 tele. You'd get the tele and -100req. Making it different from nigma, where you have str req, but get the +2 skills. I'd trade +2 skills for -100req on some builds

I haven’t found all those items in my years of playing, but for whatever reason I have had darkforce spawn drop at least 7 or 8 times.

Astreon's should definitely be A tier. If you are running a FoHdin/Smiter hybrid it's pretty much best in slot for me, you get the +skills for the FoH and you have CB and +dmg for the smiting. Godly weapon that you sometimes can buy for cheap because people dont realize how good it is.

I'd rate Darkforce Spawn much higher in the A- to B+ range. You get more damage from it than spirit and once you socket it you can customize it more.

I wish they'll add more endgame uniq items that compete with actual runeword. Or atleast buff most of them, there too many items that are meme, thinking of the necro crossbow and that kind of items. For most common runeword, they should be transitionnal item instead of best in slot. ( I don't mind the ultra late game runeword).

How about your next playthru any class ssf White, set or UniqueTwo handed Axes only. Maybe th hammers too. I know there are no th axes but there are lots of unique th axes. Paladin would be fun.

For solo self found, alot of these, especially the B tier ones, get way better value. Like if you find a high roll grandfather you can absolutely carve up hell difficulty of players 1-3 with a barb until you find a Lo for grief.

Actually Diablo, Andariel and Mephisto seem like a reasonable way to get them, all you need is TZ, lvl93 (char level 91) if I'm not mistaken.

Windforce should be in S class tier since it is bis for bowazon and in par or even better than Faith. Knockback is huge for PvP on it coz it gives freedom for glove and head choice

I still want them to add 2 Auras to Tyrael's. Make it's rareness truly unique. The only item in the game with two auras. Give it a lvl 20 Might Aura and a lvl 20 Salvation Aura. (and also the +2 to skills)

Make all uniques add 3 sockets capped. And larzuk can add 1 socket at a time. But all uniques start to have no sockets except for the ones that already have sockets

That is one of the biggest problems with D2's itemization. The majority of the uniques is useless in endgame. Almost all the classes use the same runewords and uniques in the endgame. Spirit and HOTO, Grief, Harlequin Crest, Enigma, Fortitude Arachnid's Mesh. That's A LOT of builds using only these items. For a belt if you are a caster there is really no other option except Arachnid's Mesh. Tyrael's Might is kind of a joke if you take into account how rare it is. So I would say that 90% most uniques are useless in D2.

All we really established here is that "grief exists" and "spirit exists" just don't bother with any of these useless unique guys. The most you ever really need is a Lo rune and your set..

Are unique drops still bad in D2? I remember the last time I played, I didn't get much of anything even though hell. Then again, I didn't get shit from D4 either.

Death's Fathm should go down to A IMO. Because of the cold sunder/mastery nerf Doom is a better option for cold sorc now for general farming.

As much as I love runewords, they removed the excitement of finding most of these TC87 uniques... They really should enhance them to compete with runewords

I'm one of those casual weirdos who only plays with friends and never trade unless with said friends. This results in weird stuff like my merc running Tyraels Might + Steel Pillar on my cold rupture blizzard Sorc. For my weirdness I dropped that Tyreal's Might and Templars Might in same game in Terrorized Stony Tomb which from my understanding is really against the odds - correct me if I'm wrong
