The glow plug does not need to be quite so tight. It's not under much pressure so just needs a gas tight seal and overnight may cause problems when you need to overhaul. Well done by the way 👍

Thank you for the great video I only just fitted a brand new one did the first prime set ok, 3 minutes in running it it stopped and came up with the glow plug :( so be best to get a new one take it apart and see why the glow plug errors up on a brand new unit :(

Hello Mark, very helpful video. May I ask if when your heater starts up does it make two or three Phut Phut type noise before actually firing up? Mine does and I wonder if that is normal after changing the glow plug and mesh? It works fine but just a bit slow to actually fire up.

If you have a mains power out as the unit is working the heat will melt the mother board . Always better to have it running off a battery

I just installed my heater the other day. It turned on once with no issues. Then I tried turning it on the 2nd time and I keep getting error 03. I purchased a new glow plug and replaced it and I continue to get the error code. Any recommendations for troubleshooting? I’ve also contacted the seller for assistance. Still waiting on reply.

Hi mate. I've just received a new heater. Straight away im getting E -3 error code. My voltage is set to 12v and im getting 14.2 on the batts charged by solar. I know E-3 Is a glow plug fault. I've not set the controller fully. Am i doing something wrong or is the glow plug fucked? Regards Ray.
