Beating every Area in Dark Souls 1 with items only found within

Жыл бұрынThe premise of this challenge is that I can only use items that are found in the area that I am currently in. For example, only being able to use Havel's Armor in Anor Londo because it is only found in that area. This challenge also showcases a lot of different armors and weapons I haven't really used before so hopefully it inspires you to do something like this.

Very fun run idea, I enjoyed it a lot! Yeah, Quelaag is completely immune to bleed which holds the Iaito back. Priscilla *could* be turned visible with Velka's Rapier but it'd be pretty damn difficult and I'm not sure if I would pull it off either. You have to break her 60 poise to make her visible, but rapiers don't drain a lot of poise. To chip away at it, you need to avoid letting more than 5 seconds pass between your hits, which is easier said than done when she's invisible.

A cool addendum to this challenge could be using anything a boss drops for whereever you go next. This way boss weapons/drops could still be used, but still be limited in that it can only be the next area you go to complete.

Good video dude! I would probably go with the jokes you were thinking of when you made it more "family friendly" but if that's you're style then good on you, just my opinion. You definitely put a decent amount of effort into the making and editing and if you keep up with it and get better then I would love to see where it goes. Very nice job

this is such an INCREDIBLE video!! the challenge itself, your skill in the run, the pacing and editing, omigosh the WRITING?? and its your first video?? i cant believe it!! the foreshadowing, the references to other challenge runners, the transparency of some shortcuts you took combined with intentionally using suboptimal strats for the sake of variety and entertainment,, like im in AWE honestly. 20:22 I remember in my first playthrough I was trying to get it by jumping off of house above, because I didn't realise the areas would be connected I actually managed to get it, but it took me a few trips to lower levels
