galactus would loose vs full powered shuma : mephisto=galactus in terms of powerlvl they fought once and galactus lost badly he try to play dirty by eating mephistos realm ..... and dormammu bodied mephisto it was not even funny ..... and shuma actually destroyed dormammu easily so in base term shuma is stronger then galactus but if other things come into play they might be on the same lvl

What I fined most disturbing is how easily he does it. It fiction usually the character needs to charge a beam like goku or throw a good punch like superman to destroy a planet, this guy just squishes it like a human would do to a bug.

In the Marvel Universe, Galactus is one of the few who could truly be called a deity. He actually emphasizes the fact that in all the majesty of the ENTIRE universe, a little planet called Earth is completely INSIGNIFICANT. I have heard that Galactus' appearance is different among the many alien races in the Marvel Universe. His appearance here is the form that humans could grasp in their limited minds.

+Sextus70 Galactus is actually more of a hybrid being consisting of Galan and a sentient cosmic force, the Sentience of the Universe (the previous universe equivalent of Eternity). In the final moments of the pervious universe, the Sentience told Galan that they would both perish unless they combined into a single entity. The result was Galactus, who would later learn that the Sentience (within him) required vast amounts of life energy to sustain itself. Over time, Galactus would inure himself to the suffering he causes, viewing a planet the way we would view a negligible snack.The results of what would happen should Galactus die have varied within speculations and legends. Some say the current universe would end at the moment of that death and one legend states that Galactus would one day give back to the universe infinitely more than what he has taken.

@105454553540378363420 I was aware of those facts, and they make Galactus a very interesting character, because despite being essentially a god he still needs to get energy to survive as most living beings , and unfortunately for most of them in the galaxy he can only obtain it through the destruction and absorption of their planets. Galactus enters in a particularly gray area because he can't be considered truly "evil" despite all the death and pain he delivers, he just does what he needs in order to not die, just as humans and other creatures hunt other animals to eat their flesh. Even with all his omnipotence, he keeps a sense of "kindness" and somewhat a moral code, trying to initially avoid attacking planets with sentient life until it became impossible, sparing Norrin Radd and his planet, allowing him to serve him as the Silver Surfer (when, in theory, he wouldn't need an assistant at all). And finally, he was in sincere gratitude with Earth heroes after they saved him from starvation, despite the fact that he was just trying to eat the planet, and promised to not attack it again since then.

rcldragon Not a really accurate description. Galactus isn't a Deity. He is a Cosmic entity. Also there a few people that you can play as who are more powerful than Galactus or have beaten him before. Shuma Gorath, Dormammu, Dr. Strange, and I think Deadpool at one point to name a few.

I don't know if "Congratulations. You have doomed your world" is a reference to something specific from Street Fighter, but that reminds me of Raiden's victory text from the first Mortal Kombat where he has a tournament for gods that causes the destruction of Earth, and it ends with "Have a nice day."

The destruction of the Skrull homeworld was caused by Galactus' then herald Frankie (a former hero from earth) showing it to him. Normally Galactus takes time to drain a planet, installing machines to do it. This gave some species time to escape. But the skrull world was unlucky. He ate it from the inside out

When you say Phoenix Force, do you mean the Entity itself or it's mortal host? Because despite being able to match one of Galactus's heralds, I have a hard time believing that Jean as Phoenix could beat Thor.

Oh, Franklin Richards? I did some looking, and it's hard to tell. He's a reality-warper, and his power level seems to fluctuate wildly. Still, he beat Mephisto, and a Celestial at different points. Not only that, but he restored Galactus at another point. Hope that helps! (Grin)

Everything about this Galactus is perfect to me. The voice, the attitude, diaglog and even design. As someone who has loved Galactus for so long I realy really hope the MCU does Galactus justice in this way.

I beg to differ. In terms of power, I'd say Ultron SIGMA would be on par with Galactus, considering he faced lots of Marvel and Capcom heroes and won without breaking a sweat. And Ultron Omega takes this power and amps it up to eleven! So much so that it was needed the power of 4 infinity stones + the power of all Marvel and Capcom heroes to destroy him! I'm not saying Ultron Omega would swat Galactus like a fly, but he would definitely win!
