I was 15 years old, I bought this record and listened to it for hours and hours. Listening to it I felt like I was flying and all the sweetness was in me. I had love to give and hopes and dreams to realize and it all seemed there, very close, within reach....I just had to fly above it...I closed my eyes and flew...I dreamed...what fabulous times, what a fantastic music and age....

First time I heard this song on the radio back in 1985 and I couldn't rest until I recorded it. Then listened to it, stopped the casette player line after line so I can put down the lyrics. (Well...it was the 80s... No internet where you can check the lyrics of songs, huh, imagine that.) And my inner voice still starts to sing it whenever it comes on. So glad I grew up in the 80s.

I am realizing that the men and women back in the 80s were so vulnerable about their feelings for one another and showed up in the music. It wasn't called "simping" as it is today. Songs like this need to come back in style! Beautiful song and it is one of my favorites.

The 80s were my entire preteen and teenaged years, being born in 1970. I got to experience the full decade. We knew it was special even back then, but you don’t realize how much you’ll miss something until it’s gone... On another note, the lead singer is quite handsome.

I was born in 1983. Grew up listening to good 80s and 90s music. Still love it to this day, especially the 80s music. 😍 I always dreamt about going to an 80’ concert like those I saw on KZfaq, with that magical music, lights and smoke on the stage. So a couple of days ago I happened to visit a little 80s tribute concert with a cover band performing , here in Italy where I live. The concert was on a square near the beach. It was cool, but it was kinda sad to see that all those who enjoyed the 80s as teens were 55 or 60 and something years old. Elderly tourist couples mostly. They looked shy, sat still, no dancing (someone in the back tried, though) even if they were obviously happy to hear the songs from their youth and were clapping their hands. So the vibe in the audience wasn’t what I expected. I realize - the age, they got used to act composed in front of their children and grandchildren and everything. But I just wanted to tell you, that when I read all your comments here under the 80s songs I imagine you all young! It’s like a Time Machine that transports us all to the time of our youth and childhood. We are all Forever Young here, enjoying the greatest music! ❤️❤️❤️
