The main reason for me to ditch this idea was the performance loss and the synch issues I was having. Two displays displaying the same camera can be out of synch. The moment your creation is already affecting the FPS (most high detail creations that would probably utilize this, are already tanking your FPS) you will run into synch issues. So, it's not really something for large/detailed creations. Smaller ones will run into issues with the space. You need atleast 28 free blocks for this system and planes usually don't have enough space to waste 28 blocks. This is pretty much niche for these reasons. I really wanted to use it for my Venta Maersk, but the synch issues and overall performance loss due to the cameras being cameras it was really not working out of me. It's time we can utilize screens in better way and expand on LUA scripting and it's limits.

A discord member suggested doing this with an artifical horizon on a HUD. The camera can be litteraly pressing against the screen, its surprisingly compact and you get a loot of useful info on a 1x1 HUD. (Speed, Alt, Heading, Whatever) But ye, the way this is presented is a thad... useless

Haha cool idea doing it that way!! . I spent most of last night making a menu like that Helicopter had, using your AP a Radar and Camera. Had issues with the scripts detection for the screens had to manually tell it the screen size...

Camera resolution is 16 times higher (4 times width x 4 times height) than LUA resolution. To match the resolution of camera and the LUA, you need to use medium camera 1 block away from monitors and has 0.25 FoV. Othervise you will have blurry result, similar to playing a game on a different resolution than your monitor's native resolution.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for miniaturizing cameras. The miniaturized views only update if the original camera model is within your view. If you have to put the cluster of monitors behind your cockpit, the camera views will never update.
