Just had a M&R tech out to my shop last night to do some fine tune adjustments on my Diamondback after six months. This company really stands above everyone else for service. Their techs know what they are doing and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy with your investment. Great company Rich - I'll only spend my money with you guys.

VERY impressive.. but this is not ONE operator. someone is opening the shirts for him. someone is feeding shirts to that person. and someone else was spraying adhesive. very impressive regardless !

Screen printer Omar Viera used M&R's new Challenger III D J4 Automatic Screen Printing Press to set a new world record of 2139 T-shirts printed in one hour by a single operator. The event took place on June 28 at FESPA 2013 in London. The result eclipsed the previous record (also held by Mr. Viera) by 230 T-shirts. Great video. Did anyone notice the Gildan sticker / print on the inside of the t-shirt? That must be a guide so he knows where the center of the t-shirt are? I know it would help me if it was centered. Nice work.

Some bosses will be happy with that speed but no one checkin quality on the t shirt, measure, ink, details, etc. Good Job for Omar, that was great!

If I had a machine that was as quick as this, there's absolutely no doubt in my mind I could come pretty close to this record. No, I'm not tooting my own horn. I just know how fast I can load shirts. There's some things going for Omar with this particular record. 1; from what the video show, it looks like every shirt is the same size which makes loading them the same way every time very easy after the second shirt. 2; he's loading the back of the shirt (which if you're a screen printer, you know loading the back of a shirt, especially one that 'fits' the platen/pallet the way a medium or large does, it basically loads itself. 3; there looks to be some sort of tag on the shirt so he knows it's loaded straight. and lastly, 4; he has someone opening the shirt for him so when he turns, the shirt is ready for him in the same spot every single time. I'd love to try this and see where I'd be.

Omar was phenomenal, but he was definitely tired after a whole hour of pushing it to the limit. No argument there.

Same here If you hold the shirts for me I will smoke Omar's record. And I will step up to the pallets any day(because I do every day), travel costs on me, as well.

I've been a screen printer for 20 years. The video is impressive however that speed every day all day isn't sustainable for anyone. Videos like this give business owners unrealistic expectations. As for me I can do up to 3 thousand a day with an under base and one flash everything else running wet in an 8 hour shift and that's back breaking in itself by the end of the day. However if the image is long the stroke will take time and honestly if you don't have a perfect situation as far as squeegees, pressure etc. well that will slow you down also. Can't do that everyday. And that is without the help of someone opening the shirt for me. Some materials like to stick together like the blend tee shirts. They're straight trash to work with and slow you down. When I'm running fast several end up on the floor from sticking as I pull. M&R presses are the best to work with, wilflex is the best plastisol ink and Gildan is a great product also. Put all three of those together and you have a perfect combination as long as the press is functioning well pallets have good off contact and the operator knows how to get things going and up to speed. I've been in several shops that either knew what they were doing or did not know much of anything at all. It's the latter that is a problem. Some shop owners have Managers in there that don't know what they're doing which will also slow down the entire process because they want to run a 6 color wet burned on 158 with a 110 under base. It's starts with the film and mesh. If you don't get it right in those departments you'll see the issue on the floor in production. BTW squeegees matter.😭😤

That's a cool number of shirts put on the pallets in an hour... And a nice way of exhibiting the machine. But as for the record itself, it is only just that. A record. Something just for the books. It is an unsustainable speed, both for the machine and the person. Keep that up for two hours straight, and his back will be worse than mine doing a manual 2-colour print on 750 tshirts in three times as long. I love screenprinting, it is an awesome skill to have. But the soon eight years I've logged doing that (single user, manual printing, mon-fri, 7-16) is also the reason my back is done already at 45 years of age.

shit. Im a tshirt loader and i honestly dont think i could do half what hes doing. I print on the sportsman ex and my max is about 950/hr and I dont even like printing that fast.
