Hi Jimmy , looking at the metal on the dash I would say silver . The seatbelts and door panels are blue. So I would say silver with blue interior. Have a great day and keep them on the road!

Good start on the 56. 305 was always good on gas , all square body chevys ,as ling as underneath is good , parts for them endless

Those generation Chevy fullsize pickups were the first to have a fleetside box which was introduced in 1958. At the middle of the 1955 model year when they first began producing those generation fullsize truck models, a Cameo pickup was introduced which looked like a fleetside with the same amount of box floor space as a stepside. The Cameo pickup was dropped in 1958 because of the new fleetside pickup.

@primeredisbest they were also the first generation to have an optional V8 motor which was a 265 introduced at the same time they first began producing those generation truck models. In 1958, the 265 was dropped & a new optional 283 V8 was introduced which replaced it.

@primeredisbest Chevy & GMC trucks that are super hard to find are 1988 OBSs with manual steering & manual brakes. I bet they were rare back when they were new too. 1988 was the last year for manual steering & manual brakes. The square bodies were the last to have a long stepside box.
