I didn't have MRSA but I did have 2 strains of Staph and something else. Kudos to you for being so brave, and thank you for sharing your video! I hope that you are recovering well. MRSA can be very deadly.

I had MRSA on the back of my knee that started out as a small pimple, I had to wait a week for my doctor to get the test results back to me and by that time it was the size of a nickel, It grows so rapidly definitley not something to mess around with. I have now a lovely black scar on the back of my knee.

MRSA (or even staph) is something we all need to worry about! its a genetically mutating (adapting) species of bacteria and is becoming resistant to bacetracin and vancomyacin. not to mention, it could kill if left untreated, yet so difficult to avoid, since this bacteria (staph) normally lives on our skin. its when skin is broken (cuts, scrapes, etc.) and the bacteria enters the wound when people get into trouble...

@DEKIKK It was Christmas break, It wasnt a matter of "letting it get that bad", it was a matter of it swelling up and getting this bad in a matter of days.

@dopplerthesexybeast just making an observation, I never stated the tattoo was the cause, but the more of these I watch, the more I notice tattoos in the vicinity. Just becuase the the tattoo is over a year old does not mean the MSRA didn't come from it. If you can get MSRA from a locker room and a hospital and have have it growing for a longtime and not know it. You surely can get it from a tattoo parlor.

@Angryrnmedic I don't think that was a doctor. More likely an RN or at best, a NP.

didn't they use some sorta anesthetics? i've had some ingrown hairs lanced well in an area i will only let my gyno see and the worse part was the needle
@electrocuteanna14 жыл бұрын
@DEKIKK Because it only takes a few days for something like that to form. It can go unnoticed. Especially if it's that small. Besides, why are you worrying about these people and them getting a scar?
@DEKIKK14 жыл бұрын
i dont understand why people let it get this bad. if something is growning inside of you and it's not getting better or get's worst after one week, go see ur doctor. else you will get a terrible scar.

i wonder if there's any correlation between the location of the MRSA (cyst) infections (being located on a patient's back) and going to the gym. i've seen a lot of these infections on people's backs, there's got to be something in common that their backs are coming into contact with. anyone have any comments/suggestions? there's got to be a common place where this infection is dwelling...
