Do you think it’s possible for you to make a video where you try to predict the questions for Macbeth, a Christmas Carol and an inspector calls? :) If not then that’s fine and thank you so much for all your videos!

I have just finished 3 months snowboarding in Andorra, and I’m flying home today! I liked that video too, but it didn’t really fit the channel. I’m really glad you liked it. Awesome results, good luck in the real thing.

Hi, Just wanted some tips on how i could improve my creative prose. My teacher doesnt really give me specific advice but is really vague about it. Got 29 with this response and would really like to know how i could improve it. btw i had to end it with the words "How wrong he was" so i added the entire father part into the story. Magical Magic. It had been the pinnacle of my life for as far back as I memory could reach. The squeals of joy and delight when my father would grab my nose in eagerness. Or growing up next a circus which fuelled my passion for learning the art of illusion and filling any audience placed in front of me with a sense of mystery and enchantment. Magic is my everything. It has broken my family but is also the only reason why I am here today. Sitting backstage behind the curtains, tousling my black straight hair unnecessarily, I noticed how my lanky, wiry fame was shaking in nervousness. Resulting in my dark freckles rippling across my brownish skin. I always wondered which of these traits I gained from my father. If I only I concentrated more on his looks and had a brighter image of him before he left. I paused. I tend to focus on other things when I'm facing an impossible challenge. No this wasn’t impossible that was just my father's last words reverberating within my mind. Today was going to be the day where I proved my passion for magic. Today I was going to change everything. I waited for my name to be called for the school talent show, trying to hold the nerves and ignore the unbearable silence around the hall. Silence resulted in two things, either a sense of a awe or a sense of boredom. I was going to make sure my entire audience would only feel the former. However I knew I had to throw my all into this show to make sure my audience was filled with whispers, gasps and smiles that I created. Because I had to believe in myself for this to work. Finally, after what felt like an eternity I heard the applause of the audience which popped my bubble of thought and security. It was my turn next. The microphone crackled to life and I heard Mrs Smith call for my name. I leapt up from my chair and walked past students that had already completed their acts. I could feel their stares burning into my back and their murmurs bore into my mind "Why is that weirdo going on stage?" "His parents broke up because of him." "I'm gonna laugh so hard when he fails!" They had been doing this a lot recently and it started to get to me. In a zombie like trance I trudged to the stage centre. Belief for myself leaking out of me like air out of a balloon. Everything changed when I stood on stage, It was extraordinary. When I looked towards the audience I felt as if I was home. The sheer amount of people inspired me rekindling the passion for magic that had burnt out all those years ago. Mr Smith and two other teachers sat directly in front of me as they were the three judges of the competition. Mr Smith who was the most ruthless out of the three sat in the middle. She was a large pudgy sort of woman who was always first in line for the dinner queue however with her history for punishments she would be able to silence any classroom she walked within. I knew she was the one I had to impress the most. I started to believe in myself once again faith rushing through my body as I began with biggest smile I could muster. I grabbed the pack of cards hidden in my sleeve rewarded by a few mocking gasps. Ignoring the glare of the spotlight and the drip of sweat on my brow I focussed on the end result. The joy I was going to share here today. The joy that my father rarely shared with me because of his lack of belief in my magical talent. I paused. "No,no,no. Not now..." I chided to myself throwing the thought out of my mind. This was my time to shine and I was going to shine brightest of all! I handed the deck to Mrs Smith, The silence around me encouraging me to fill it with shrieks of delight and thrill, I ordered Mrs Smith to choose a card - which felt awesome- and write her signature on the card while I turned around so I couldn’t peek. I turned Thump,Thump,Thump What if I failed. Thump,Thump,Thump Would no one believe in me? My heart was trying to escape from my chest as I willed it stay still. I made a small prayer right there and then asking for someone's belief ion me. Anyone's! "Done" Mr Smith's voice cut through my doubts like a knife through butter. Exhaling a sigh of relief I walked up to the now sealed pack of cards gaining curious glances from teachers and students alike. This is exactly what I yearned for. Some attention and this stage overfed me with it. I now had full belief in myself. As my last trick came to a close and it worked flawlessly, I finally realised how exhausted I was. My legs and arms were aching in effort and my forehead was drenched in sweat. I had finally done it. My 3 card tricks, my infinite hanky trick and my disappearing hat trick all worked perfectly in making the audience filled with joy and curiosity. I had even dumbfounded the judges as I saw a slither of a smile creep onto Mrs Smith's face at the conclusion of my first trick. I bowed. Taking in the praise from thje audience knowing that my father's belief didn’t mould me into the person I would become. I didn’t even care who won the competition. My father's last words echoed through my mind for the last time that day. "No one believes in you son. No one!" How wrong he was.

Well, it is the germ of a great story. It sounds as though you know your card tricks. But what does your character want most, to impress Mrs Smith, or the father. Big up that character. I suspect it is the father, about whom we know almost nothing, so the ending does not have as much power as you would like. Some flashback might help with this. The obstacle is the trick going wrong - but what trick, and what can go wrong, and how does it go right? One trick is enough. There are a few inaccuracies - mr instead of mrs - check for these. Then go through and work out which bits are simply telling your readers - such as thump, thump - and work out a way to show your readers instead. I look forward to the revised version.
