I think that you might have not fully understood about the saxophone thing. Well, in that interview, *Taehyung* failed a note and the other members laughed. *Taehyung* made an excuse saying that it's been a while, so he doesn't play as well as before and that it takes *three months* just to make a sound. *Suga* asked *Taehyung* if that's true, when *Taehyung* confirmed It, *Suga* said that *Jungkook* could do it on the spot. *Jungkook* agreed to the challenge. So *Taehyung* showed him how to hold the saxophone correctly. After that, *Jungkook* who has no experience in playing the saxophone whatsoever, played a note when *Taehyung* said that it takes *three months* to do a single note. That's why it's so funny.😂 Edit: I'm sorry, I got it wrong. *Taehyung* actually said three *years* and not three *months.* Thank you *@Ecrin* for correcting my mistake. 😔

Bruh, as someone who plays a woodwind instrument it definitely doesn’t take three months to blow a note and it definitely isn’t hard. You just blow it without touching your teeth to the reed. If you don’t blow it hard enough sometimes the sound doesn’t come out. Honestly this is just pathetic. People praising jungkook for making a sound come out of the sax, while downgrading taehyung as if 3 years of practicing the saxophone is nothing. This part of the video rubbed me the wrong way. I quite enjoyed the video showing jungkook being great at everything, but then when it got to the saxophone part I was like, wth is this, this isn’t even showing off jungkook’s skills, this is just insinuating that after 3 years of hard work jungkook is better than taehyung just because he simply blew into it. This is why this video gives me solo stan type of vibes. In no way should a fan pull another member down just to praise the other.

@@sarahe6659 The first person just explained the situation behind that specific video. I agree that it's not as hard to make a sound in a saxophone as they make it out to be (especially if you have someone to show you how to do it properly, although I will say that I struggle with those types of instruments). Thing is though, Tae was the one to make the statement of it taking up to three months to even produce a sound. It's not true but that's what he said. That's why the whole thing sort of "backfired" on him when JK did it on the first try. I understand where you're coming from but I don't think anyone here mentioning this clip is a solo stan, and neither is the original video maker. I also feel like there are so many underappreciated skills JK has that are far more impressive than a big chunk of what's usually in these videos. But for some reason they remain fairly unknown. 💜

Jungkook revealed in one of BTS' docuseries that he is very much aware of fans calling him the Golden Maknae but bc of that it's burdened him with the task of having to live up to that title and presenting 200% of his best self to fans. And that a single small mistake or misunderstanding could potentially get blown up to a major disaster. This man started his career at such a young age and has faced many obstacles being the youngest of BTS, I hope he's overcome this stress and I'm sure he'll be sharing more of his stories and experiences when he releases his mixtape.

Korean terms Sam should familiarise himself with- 1: maknae(pronounce: Maggnay)- youngest member/person of group. In BTS, jungkook is the maknae. 2: Hyung(pronounce: h-you-ng)- elder brother of a boy. For jungkook the 6 other members are his hyungs. Adding this as suffix after name.(Ex: Jin hyung! Suga hyung!) 3: Sunbae- senior (for TXT, BTS members are sunbae) adding this as suffix after name. (Ex: jimin sunbae-nim, V sunbae-nim, where nim is a respectful suffix/term) 4: Hoobae (pronounce: who-bae)- junior (for BTS, the TXT members are hoobae) 5: PD nim- I guess PD means Producer, and again, nim is a respectful term here as in sir/ma'am. (Bang PD nim= hitman bang/bang si hyuk) 6: hana dul set- one two three 7: annyeonghaseyo (pronounce- ahn+yong+hasayo) - hello 8: kamsahamnida- Thank you And BTS in korean is BANGTAN SONYEONDAN. The one where jungkook was drawing a muscular rabbit/bunny they were actually drawing designs for BT21 when they were forming it. The one where jungkook was a "robot" It's actually a tv show in korea called masked singer and you have to guess the idol who is singing without seeing their face (I think? Im not really familiar with the mechanics of the tv show). The one where he is dancing with cloth is a performance, the dance is actually part of Korean tradition.

Youre right about the show being called masked singer. Here's how it works: its a tournament, and has 3 rounds plus the final. All types of celebs may participate, thus even actors and comedians go in the show. All must be masked, and the audience and judge panels VOTE 'without seeing the faces of the singer'. It's to ensure the votes are decided purely on talent. The winner of majority votes move on to the next round, where you face the other people who passed the round before. The loser of the round does a second performance 'during' which he/she takes off the mask. Throughout the show, the panels and audience try to figure out who is under the mask, and the anticipant feelings rise as the rounds go on. The final winner is crowned king, who is given a special mask and competes in the finals of the next episode.

Theoretically, we may never find out who the singer is, IF he does not lose to another singer, ever. Also, to give hints about the masked singer's identity, the show host has the participants do little skits or dances or whatever. But just as long as the singer does not lose in vote, being identified does no damage.

Maknae (막내) is actually pronounced sorta like mag-neh. the ㄱ character (k sound) is sometimes pronounced more like a 'g' sound than a 'k' sound, and theㅐcharacter (ae sound) is pronounced 'eh'. There isn't actually an 'ay' character in Korean.

for the marathon and the archery, theres a thing called idol olympics where idols compete against eachother in many things like this, and no it wasn't the rest of bts following him haha. and with the saxophone, basically it takes 3 months of training to be able to make actual sound come out with it meanwhile jungkook has never trained yet he got out normal sound.

I’m sure he finds a pressure to live up to the name (he said so in the Behind The Scenes documentary) - tbh he doesn’t even have to try. He gives 1000% of himself into everything. If it’s due to his competitive personality, genuine interest in trying new things or whatever, our Kookie is awesome in every sense. Geezus I can’t- haelp mee. ♥️This is why he’s my wrecker. I didn’t even have a chance🤡

the running race clip is from ISAC! (Idol Star Athletics Championships) were different kpop idols compete in a sports competition! when bts used to attend they were notoriously good at the relay race and won it several times in a row!

17:26 he was on a show called King Of Mask Singer. Somebody sings and then the “judges” has to say whether they the person singing is an idol or amateur I guess. They also try to guess which idol is singing. America has made a remake of the show and called it The Masked Singer. Ryan Reynolds was actually once on the show in Korea and the judges were SHOCKED. Jimin was also once in the panel (if u can call it that). Hope that cleared up the weird mask 😂

maknae means the youngest. dongsaeng is younger and maknae is youngest. RM gave Jungkook the nickname Golden Maknae. Golden because he’s literally good at everything and can learn stuff within minutes and Maknae bcs he’s the youngest among the group💜

LoL he is good at fishing now and he’s only growing more talents so yeah Jungkook is that guy. He is also not really scared by much he will bungee jump like it’s nothing and do so many other things normal people would be afraid to do. One of the many many reasons why he’s my bias he is insanely hardworking.

17:25 jk participated in a korean show called masked singer! basically the idea of it is that ppl compete but with masks on and if they lose the competition they will take the mask off and reveal who they are. it's pretty exciting bc u don't get to see their face until that point, so u can try to guess who it is.

Hello Sammy, I love your reactions, genuine and heart warming. ARMY’s all around the world already know how talented all the members of BTS are, but JK has a special place in my heart. Maybe because he’s my bias. There is a teaser he released on SoundCloud a while ago of one of the potential songs for his mixtape called Decalcomania. In this song he expresses sort of the anxiety and pressure he feels trying to live up to his nickname “The Golden Maknae” who’s good at everything. He can’t see himself the way ARMYS perceive him.
