Caitlin Clark Just Shut Down The WNBA Bullies
The WNBA has long voiced concerns over a lack of media coverage, but now that the spotlight is intensifying, it seems there's some resistance to it. This shift is partly attributed to what some call an initiation into the WNBA.
However, it's becoming increasingly clear that there is a sense of resentment towards Caitlin Clark. Many players aspire to reach her level of success and visibility, but the reality is, they can't replicate her unique qualities.
Caitlin Clark stands out not just for her skills but for her individuality. She truly is one of a kind. Her exceptional talent has seemingly made her a target for overly aggressive plays and unsportsmanlike conduct, with opponents seeking to make a statement at her expense.
Despite being one of the brightest stars in the league, she finds herself targeted not just by her opponents, but by a wave of hostility that's tough to ignore. From bully ball tactics to direct aggression, it seems there is a joint effort to challenge her rise.

I'm black and I didn't start watching WNBA games until Caitlin Clark entered the picture, and no, it has nothing to do with hating myself or my race. One reason I started watching is because I want to see what all the commotion is about and see who is going to physically attack her next. There are reasons I didn't and don't watch, unless Caitlin is playing, but I don't want to affect my livelihood as the feminists and rainbow coalition seem to run everything or have a big influence in everything nowadays. But yes, the women of the WNBA are definitely jealous of Caitlin Clark's fame and monetary success. They may also be pissed off by the fact that she's a successful straight woman in a league full of lesbians.

Ouch! I'm a white baby-boomer and like you just started watching WNBA for the exact same reasons. BUT I've found the WNBA games worth watching. Are the women who've been battling for recognition for years a little pissed off? No doubt. And as for the WNBA just being a league of black lesbians....at this point I don't know why I even bothered responding.

The WNBA hasn't experienced success because WNBA women are slower and less athletic than college men, meaning watching a WNBA game is closer to a boys high school basketball game. I expect the best high school boys team could beat the best WNBA team since generally women are slightly behind high school boys in athletics. THAT is why people don't watch the WNBA.

Candice Wiggins back in 2017 says she retired partially because of the "toxic" environment, that she was bullied for being straight, and that the league is "98% lesbian." You can look up several articles, but here's some quotes: "Wiggins, a four-time All-American at Stanford, asserts she was targeted for harassment from the time she was drafted by Minnesota because she is heterosexual and a nationally popular figure, of whom many other players were jealous." “Me being heterosexual and straight, and being vocal in my identity as a straight woman was huge,” Wiggins said. “I would say 98 percent of the women in the WNBA are gay women. It was a conformist type of place. There was a whole different set of rules they (the other players) could apply. […] “People were deliberately trying to hurt me all of the time. I had never been called the B-word so many times in my life than I was in my rookie season. I’d never been thrown to the ground so much. The message was: ‘We want you to know we don’t like you.’” […] “It comes to a point where you get compared so much to the men, you come to mirror the men,’ she said. “So many people think you have to look like a man, play like a man to get respect. I was the opposite. I was proud to a be a woman, and it didn’t fit well in that culture.”

When I was a teenager, I raced motocross. One race, I forgot to turn the fuel on and the engine died. My starting position was last place. As I made my way through the pack, I came across a rider that kept cutting me off. Keep in mind, I consistently placed in one of the top three positions. Once the race was over, I was yelling at this guy as we road past the grandstands where my neighbor was the announcer and the track referee, the top official, was my father. He came to me in the pits. He looked at me and asked me what was going on because people were saying they never heard me like that before. I told my father, the ref, "He kept cutting me off. I could not get around him." My father looked at me and asked, "Do you know why you could not get around him?" I knew something bad was coming. I said, "No." He simply said, "Because you weren't good enough. " He turned and walked away. These players that are wining and crying have a problem. It is not their race. The bottom line is, "They are not good enough."

Great take!!! It's so obvious that Reese straight up hates Clark!!! That shot to Clark's head was definitely intentional and a flagrant foul. It bit Reese in the ass though since Clark made the free throw and the Fever ended up winning by 1! A lot of smak talk going on in the WNBA right now. It's really a good thing because a lot of people are now talking about women's basketball more than ever!

In the NBA that would definitely be a flagrant foul ( wind-up and contact to the head). They might have even upgraded it to a Flagrant 2. To funny

Yup, the racist THUG AR is exposed for anyone with observant eyes to see, although so many are blinded by their own racism and hate.

They wanted to create a woke image for the WMBA, and Clark's popularity single handedly destroyed that. Now it's Clark's game, and it is in her wholesome image.

I don’t watch enough WNBA games to know how common a hip check is. But I believe that this one was a bit over blown. No one got hurt and Caitlyn handled it well. Let’s appreciate all of these ladies for their remarkable skills. Everyone benefits from the talent of Ms Clark.
