I put this song on repeat while playing this game called Space Engine; it's a space simulation that recreates basically our entire universe (millions of galaxies!) Wandering around the vast chasms of space and traveling to stars and planets thousands of light years away in the blink of an eye really testifies to how vast our outer space really is, and how insignificant we can seem sometimes. But at the same time it exemplifies the beauty of our planet and how unique our world is. Bless your hearts, all :)

This artwork reminds me of a tree in a stream at the bottom of Bryce Canyon in Utah. I had just woken up in my tent, made coffee and followed some deer up the streambed for about a mile when I see this tree. It must have been 6 feet in diameter and had fallen in a storm years before directly across the creek. During storm surges, the mostly polished colorful stones and sediment in the creekbed had built the upstream side up about 7 or 8 feet. It hadn't rained in a few days so the stream was a gentle tiny waterfall over the edge of the trunk. The gap underneath the tree on the downstream side caught the utah sun and threw the most surreal iridescent sheen of reflections through the water like an enormous geode. I sat there for a very long time just admiring it. The second longest popular trail in bryce canyon has a couple campsites at the bottom, if you're ever there just follow the stream a mile or so up the canyon and see god in the rocks. lol.
