yeah our so called privatised rail service .One of the most expensive rail services in the world is actually subsidised by tax payers .Rail fairs keep going up .Rail service is good here bad there. At the wekend my tube station is closed. If you accidently take the wrong travel card out they will prosecute you and fine you and will not take any notice of what you say. Many rail services will have impenetrable price options and now longer trips are cheaper if you book ahead like a plane .People now commute on modern overcrowded trains instead of old overcrowded trains. There is still no late night tube because unions and some plane fairs are cheaper than some rail fairs. Some privatised rail networks are as or worse than british rail.Shareholders seem to be more important than customers and when the rail networks fuck up its the tax payer and customer that seem to pay. When i was a kid the rail network was old but i was nearly never late getting home unless i did something to delay my trip .Both bus and rail was stupid cheap and again i got about fairly easy though the buses seemed to be a bit less punctual but i could go all over london for very little and it stayed that way for years .Now fairs just keep going up .A new london mayor promises a better service and no fair rises and its always bullshit. No wonder some people on the D.L.R just push through or jump over the barriersI saw a bunch of young men just push the larger bariiers out of the way unconcerned about cctv or transport police but then the police have been cut and you can forget rail staff saying or doing anything
