Inverary and FMM certainly onto something with using hymns in the set. Certainly adds a special melodic value to the medley!

Repetition my friend, and learning how the tune goes and singing the drum score to the tune in your head.

In general walk close where you see it if you dont believe it. Well at least 6 or more are not playing on the actual snares or one of each players sticks is playing off the snares im including this sound of these drums. Drum sound of today is honestly appalling. For Grade 1 this is shouldn't be accepted along with over half grade 1 Drum corps. Well you have Drummers who play in grade 1 but not a Grade 1 player in some ways. You can hear without seeing theres not everyone playing where the snare is on the top head. Like it or lump it its fact.
