I just feel after getting a certain recognition they start endorsing "comfortable in your skin colour" But I think feeling a bit insecure or wanting to look a certain way is also part and parcel of being yourself...

Adding to what Mrunal said, for as long as I can remember, the most beautiful and intriguing woman I ever saw had high cheekbones, almost perfect features, and perfect skin-it was blemish free, glowing and dark. Sounds like an oxymoron, but darker skin can be very healthy. What intrigued me about her was, she was managing in a small cobbler shop in Bangalore. As I saw her, I thought to myself, that under different circumstances, she would have been a supermodel, or maybe her beauty is waiting to be discovered.

Stopped watching this after a few seconds. Nothing has changed regarding skin color in Bollywood/Tollywood/Kollywood. It is ridiculous that she says this knowing fully well about skin lightening treatments that actors routinely use. Name one dark skinned lead female actor, let's start with Hindi films.

Bcoz she is an actress and she is giving an interview, and as she is giving an interview she already knew about that , hence she knew she used makeup , and being an actress ,makeup is very much used by them , but there are some days where a person wants to be normal human being (comfy,cozy) and specifically *"no makeup also falls in comfy category**
