Singada Recipe ( Odia ) | Aloo Samosa Recipe | Odisha style singada recipe by mrunalinee : It is one of the most popular deep fried snack in Odisha. Here I have prepared how to make the street style singida or samosa in this video. The speciality behind this samosa is chopped potato( with skin ) , lots of peanut, yellow peas , fenugreek leaves etc. So. watch and try this unique dish at home. Enjoy it with ghuguni( yellow peas curry) or with tomato sauce, sweet tamarind chutney, green chutney.
Ingredients:
1. All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup
2. Chopped potato - 3 ( Medium ( Do not peel the skin )
3. Chopped onion - 1 ( Medium )
4. Boiled yellow peas - 2 tbsp
5. Roasted peanut - 2tbsp
6. Chopped green chili - 2
7. Grated ginger - 1 tbsp or 1 inch
8. Panch phoron - 1/2 tsp ( mustard seeds, cumin seeds , fenugreek seeds , black cumin , fennel seeds )
9. Dry fenugreek leaves - 1/2 tsp
10. Carom seeds / Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
11. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
12. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
13. Salt as per taste
14. Oil for frying
