Elvis was quite the entertainer. I myself am starting to watch a lot of his performances and listening to his music. I'm in my 40s and like most people my age I knew about Elvis but I was never a big fan. But i didn't dislike him either. Just grew up with different music. But my parents loved him. I mean they do really hard professional work but they also clown around and have a good time. And they do it on stage as well. And the audience just eats it up. His first instructor was a German shotokan stylist named Juergen Seydel who taught Elvis at his off-base housing in Nauheim until 1958. Elvis developed a passion for Karate which continued throughout his life Elvis was awarded 7th Degree Black Belt in 1973 by Master Rhee and on occasion had the opportunity, himself, to test and promote students of lower rank. He also began to include Karate into his performances.
