Meanwhile in Poland I have full 4G coverage around the country except some more remote regions, but there we still have reliable 3G. I spent big chunk of last year traveling with my sister around the country and I've had a really smooth experience.

It's still alive and in development! I am actually running an older version (2.5.4) on a flip phone. The version I have is rather buggy, for example: sometimes google assistant will freeze and lock up your phone, and the only way to wake it up is to take the battery out and then put it back in. And the sad thing is, I can't update the os to a newer version because whenever I click "software update", it just tells me that it's up to date 😡. But the app store is always getting new games added to it (all of them are free), I can watch KZfaq videos, check the weather, and visit most websites, there is an email app, but I don't want to accept the "terms of service" with something as sensitive as e-mail. All in all, it's good enough for me... and yes, I did write this comment with the phone in question.

Convenience is the key as a phone is something most of us have with us anyway, nobody carries a full on camera just walking about randomly.

Microsoft had no support during the time where apps and mobile games were just taking off that’s why they failed today is different though there isn’t a craze for mobile games like that plus Microsoft couldn’t sell phones so app developers wouldn’t make app versions for the phones so it’s totally different

Once any government realizes that there is a way profit from something, they will put their hand in it. Soon those $40/hr jobs will have all kinds of taxes and put on them. My parents are from Cuba but I was born here in the states. I speak English and Spanish fluently, and can go to any Spanish speaking country and get a job that requires English speakers. Just give things time, and you’ll see how it goes. A money pot is always good in the beginning. Once people start migrating (believe it or not foreign jobs get advertised here and entice people to move) and the government gets into it, it’ll go down hill. Nobody is going to settle for living in a “developed” country but have someone in a “undeveloped” country make more than them.

Ron Samba I’m just telling you from history, that’s how things go. Everyone thinks that their night paying jobs will last forever. Even with low living costs, that stuff comes full circle when speaking economically. And I’m sure that those jobs you speak of everyone doesn’t have, and if they begin to grow, that wage won’t be for everyone. More money more problems my friend. That phrase is always true.

JIO outsources phone manufacturing to a company called LYF and it is powered by Kai OS. The only thing JIO in a JIO phone is the simcard network.
