A few years ago I took a chance and brought the Xiaomi Redmi Pro - I did some research but otherwise had never heard of Xiaomi. I was really impressed, lovely screen, responsive phone,decent Android overlay, fingerprint scanner, everything pretty good. So I'm not at all surprised to see Xiaomi are now challenging Samsung, good luck to them.

@MANHUNT YT actually, I just corrected it - it’s 30W for literally 3 devices, iPad Pro 2020, iPad Pro 2021 and iPad Air 2020; the fast charger for all the other phones are 12W - apple are a joke

I've had a Mi Mix 2 for just over 2 years and the only problem I ever had with their software is that they forced the hidden notification icons for phones that don't have a camera in the middle.

that was before the whole camera under the screen thing, im using mi mix2 aswell but the rear paint of the phone easilly scrapped off by my fingers and im not liking it. The phone is great but the paint bugged me off.

One thing also need to be noted is the developer support of xiaomi and they allow their devices to be unlocked and try out custom roms ... so maybe the limitation of the second screen must be solved by using a custom rom 🤷🤷

I bought into the Huawei p20 pro hype a few years ago and ended up being really disappointed with the camera. Learned a valuable lesson that the most important thing with phone cameras is software calibration not hardware specs. I'll stick with the Samsung for sure.

I'm glad, they actually changed the fact, that you can only get 15 seconds of video with the Secondary display, now you get no more limited time and also you can shoot more than 15 sec by using the secondary display which is quite impressive.

Don't buy the Mi 11 Ultra you'll regret it because of the battery life and buggy ad filled MIUI software. S21 Ultra (SD 888 version) is a much better phone

The truth is that Apple, Shaomi, Sony, they all use Samsung parts and Samsung screen. Whichever sells better than the other, Samsung makes profit at the end.

It's currently the only company capable of manufacturing these items at the volume that Apple needs, which means Apple has to buy the parts from Samsung. So just over a quarter of the iPhone is relied upon Samsung for parts. The second part of the graphic shows the average sale price of an iPhone as $560, with $368 going to Apple, $178 towards components, and $14 towards Foxconn for manufacturing the iPhone
