@@ricomartinez2869Restored? It's a just a Chinese Santana. Thousands of them are still on the road. If I'm not mistaken if a car reaches more than 600 000 km or becomes more than 30 years old it becomes illegal to be driven on the Chinese roads.

Whats the point of taking a one piece unit and shreding it into a mess. Melt the whole ting down in one piece. Most of it goes into rebar anyway

Engines may have higher quality steel that is worth more per pound. With the right equipment it only takes seconds to rip an engine or transmission from a car. Also when dealing with thousands of pounds of material every day a couple cents more per pound adds up.
