اكتمال اعمال حفر نفق الصرف الصحي الرئيسي ضمن مشروع نفق مسيمير للمياه السطحية والجوفية
أعلنت هيئة الأشغال العامة "أشغال" انتهائها من أعمال حفر نفق الصرف الرئيسي الخاص بمشروع نفق مسيمير للمياه السطحية والجوفية في نهاية شهر يوليو 2015.
يهدف هذا المشروع للتخلص من المياه الجوفية ومياه الأمطار وضخها في البحر، مما سيساعد على خفض منسوب المياه السطحية الأمر الذي سيسهم في تخفيض تكلفة الضخ والتخلص من المياة الجوفية في مشاريع التشييد في الدولة والمحافظة على أساسات المباني وتقليل ظاهرة هبوط الأرض بسبب الأمطار.
يشكّل اكتمال نفق الصرف الرئيسي، انتهاء الأعمال الرئيسية التي ينطوي عليها مشروع نفق مسيمير للمياه السطحية والجوفية، أما الأعمال المتبقية فتضم حفر وإنشاء الأنفاق الفرعية ومناهيل الفحص التي تنتشر على امتداد نفق الصرف الرئيسي.
من الجدير بالذكر بأن طول نفق الصرف الرئيسي يبلغ حوالي 10 كيلومترات على عمق حوالي 30 متراً تحت سطح الأرض، ممتداً من دوار محطة وقود وصولاً لغاية عدة كيلومترات من الساحل.
Completion of the Main Tunnel Excavation Works for Mesaimeer Surface and Ground Water Drainage Project
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announced that excavation works for the main tunnel of the Mesaimeer Surface and Ground Water Drainage Project were completed at the end of July 2015.
The project will discharge the ground water and stormwater into the sea thus decreasing the surface water level. This will in turn contribute to the reduction of pumping costs and to the disposal of ground water in construction projects around the country.
The excavation works were carried out by “Al Thumama” and “Al Rawada” Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM). Named after the areas they operated in, the two TBMs were specially designed and developed for this project by the German manufacturing company “Herrenknecht AG”, and were used for the first time in Qatar to excavate deep tunnels.
It is worth mentioning that the main tunnel is approximately 10 km long and reaches a depth of approximately 30 m.
