just connect your pen tablet to your laptop and you're good to go. there's also some tutorials on my channel that might help you:)

Would be great if it converts to typed text. Takes up too much space in current form.

Try to zoom in your page when you’re writing. When youre done, zoom the page out so the letters won’t be that big

Noit does not take much space as the text is in a vector format ) and yes you com search through it without converting it. fun fact I ,did not type this " comment, i wrote it using the same divice

Hello, the pen nib doesn't deteriorate fast;1 nib can lasts for a month or so depending on how much force you put into. Drawing tab: Huion Inspiroy 2 (sakura pink)

It's called pen tablet/graphic tablet, there's a lot of brand that manufacture them, the most prominent one being "Wacom", as for the cheaper brand people usually goes for Huion or XP Pen, but there's been a lot of new brand this past few years.
