Today, there is no war, but no guarantee tomorrow. I was in 2nd semester when Russia attacked Ukraine and everyone was speculating that Germany will somehow get involved so people started stocking up food and fuel. Inflation happened in Germany but no actual war yet. Don't know about tomorrow.

Good question. These are the things I used to do: 1. Friends and Seniors. We know their profiles and can see which universities they are getting into. 2. Linkedin. People are already doing the course we want to pursue. Search on Linkedin and checkout their profiles. This can give a rough average idea of stats. We can never be sure in this ball game.

How to check? Read the requirements and compare with your profile. Like if they are asking 15 credits in maths, then check your transcript if you have 15 credits or not. Or if they want atleast 6.5 in each band of IELTS, then compare it with yours. Until they explicitly say they value work experience, it doesn't matter much. Like if you apply at MSc DSE program at TU Dresden, they have separate columns in the application form to fill work experience. So they value work experience in that program. Generally if they don't ask, they don't care.

Website is the only source of truth. No secret courses.

For CS? Maybe. I know friends having 8.8 CGPA with no research paper but having GSoC getting into TUD.

Your GPA is low. So apply as far as money allows. And focus on applied science universities if budget is tight as GPA might create issues in TUs. But no one knows for sure, so you can take chances with some TUs.

Hi. In most cases no. Mostly CS majors have prerequisite of CS related subjects. Maybe some university at some place has different prerequisites which you can fulfil, but that's your research.
