Thank you for this Butt Kicker review. I never heard of this hard ware add-on before. I normally use my sub woofer for rumble effect and low down ground sound but this looks pretty good. Flight sim products are definitely on the rise! Stick it on the Christmas list 😉🚁🛩

You really should use additional software, that makes it a better experience since noise (sound) is not identical to vibrations (what you feel). I used the Opus software for Prepar3D and the SimShaker for Aviators for X-Plane and MSFS. Opus now also has an MSFS module I saw but did not try that yet. If you can do a video on a comparison or show other software that would be lovely.

I originally bought my buttkicker for my Next Level GT Lite racing cockpit. (It works great for that). But when I am not racing, my buttkicker is on my office chair so when I am playing everything else. It is a whole different experience using it in Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen, Arma 3 (It really enhances Arma), and all types of other games. Now if a play my racing sims or any other game without the buttkicker, I feel like something important is missing from the game. I did have to add a usb fan to the amp and a usb fan on each side of the transducer because it overheats and shuts off. Mostly on the racing rig. I am in the process of adding some kinetic isolators to the rig because it sits on a thick carpet and as a result, I have to turn the buttkicker up all the way.

Hi, I was just looking through your content having watched this video, I'm just wondering if you ever got around to doing a video with the sim shaker software?

How does this compare with the Realtus simshaker jet pad which I ordered after seeing your review a year ago. (Customs in Madrid sent it back to Russia, the buggers) You said you could feel the landing gear ,flaps etc. going up and down. I could try again to have it sent to the Uk. Or would you just get the Buttkicker? By the way my experience with Realtus was actually good

I fly with headphones in a loft with my wife downstairs enjoying the quiet from my flying. If the Buttkicker shakes things up too much, my wife might shake me up. ;-) Off topic - what is the keyboard you're using? I'm in need of an upgrade. Thanks!

Intersting review, many thanks. May I ask?, does the gaming chair you use have swivel and wheels lock? I'm not confident using the pedals wouldn't cause the chair to roll or swivel and that's the only kind of chair I can think of for mounting a buttkicker, thanks again

I'm wondering how I might attach one of these to my Ikea Poang... I do sim racing as well as flight simming (and a bit of Elite) all in VR, and only have space for one chair. Looks like it would add a lot to the immersion

how does it know when to shake, like when you land the plane it shakes. I'm wondering how does it know that, because you didn't configure anything other than plugging the computer audio in. I'm wanting to use this for my drum seat, I'm wondering if I just plug my electric kit into the buttkicker and it just magically shakes for bass kicks but nothing else?

Get a VR, you wont regret

Big flaw with your setup. You should have your controllers fixed to your chair so that they have the same haptic feedback. Makes a huge difference.

Its a great peripheral but I guarantee you the amp will die just after the warranty expires because its absolute garbage. The transducer on the other will last forever. You can swap out the useless amp for about £70 and I power 2 of those transducers off an sa-70.
