Windows Server 2019 Active Directory Basics:
In this video we will learn about how to create Active Directory Objects like Organizational Unit (OU), User Accounts and Groups in Windows Server 2019.
1) Create OU using Active Directory Users and Computer Console
2) Create User Account Using ADUC
3) Create Groups in AD
4) Add User Accounts to Group.

I didn't catch your name MR but thank you. Your explanation how to add Users and OUs was clear and good. In other words Microsoft use the same technique and way to use a folder in a Windows 10 environment for example, of course in AD DS there is more complexity but that's ok. Thank you again

HI can we add the users in the user section in the first active directory rather than in the OU- Groups- Users? then we can link them from there to each OU & Groups?

@@farhad4uk Yes, you can create users under Users (built-in container) and then you can move them to specific OU in order to apply GPO to them.

For that you can use password policy of fine grained password settings.

Bother i liked your all vidoes and i learned lots by you . I have a one qustion i joined one client machine in domain era. But facing this issue when server does shutdown. Then client machine login on cleint pc on windows 10 along with domain user and password. Untlill unless it should not login when server is sutdown .Please help me how to stop this.

Hi, thank you. Coming back to your question, by default client will cache the 10 last successful logon credential on client computer, so in case if client is not able to contact domain controller for authentication, the cache logon credential will allow the user to sign into client computer. You just need to disable it. You can create and apply GPO from domain level (which is recommended) or you can setup local GPO as well. In GPO navigate to Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options. You can set any value from 0 to 50 . If you set 0, this will prevent Windows from caching user credentials. Note: This will prevent users from login to client computer if DC is not available.

Sir, First we should install ADDS or DC in the machine. In my case I do install ADDS than DC. But if I will try to install DC First than ADDS than what happen in the server??

To setup Domain controller first we need to install ADDS binaries. So basically, first we need to install ADDS then DC.

Because all the OU;s are protected with "Protect from accidental deletion" settings which is enable by default. To delete the OU with accidental deletion protections. 1. Open active directory users and computers snap-in 2. Click View on the menu bar, and then click Advanced Features. 3. Go to the OU that you want to delete, right click on it and click on Properties. 4. Click on object tab. 5. clear checkbox in front of the "Protect from accidental deletion" Now you can delete the OU..
