I am not sure the MSI MEG Maestro 700L is the first case that uses a one piece glass for front and side panel. The Jonsbo TK-1 and TK-2 are similar in design and the glass even goes a bit over the back.

The anti-burning software should be on all OLED monitors not only MSI I am talking about all OLED because if more and more monitors become OLED the rate of monitors getting burned would be higher because the average gamer don’t think about stuff like that and the hard-core gamers how go’s on no stop 24 hour gaming streaks

That is a weak argument. I can easily say if the developer didn't want anyone to use that feature they can disable the mini-map because that is what is providing the information. Also, every other player has that same information so it isn't cheating. Cheating is when you are getting info that no one else has or can get. The mini-map is available for all to see. This is essentially the whole argument of whether a monitor with a built in crosshair is cheating (which I would argue it isnt). Even people who dont have monitors with built in crosshairs can stick a piece of tape to the middle of the monitor.

You guys have to remember theres gamers out there with a variety of different medical conditions or mental setbacks this can really assist people who cant do much movement either. (don't think everyone was born perfect out the womb) I think its a great gamer assistant for those who need it. Yes people can take advantage of it but this can provide more help to gamers that need it :) (cheaters are everywhere even without this special monitor)

The problem with tackling this particular feature is in getting evidence that points to the AI interacting with the game. As it stands, only the owner of this particular monitor would know what's happening. Unless the game developers can track specific API calls in game, which would seem is the only way this would be able to track the position of enemies, i don't see how they would be able to tell something like this is happening.

Presumably the way this technology works, is it will continuously read the pixels of the mini-map, and then overlay the information. Since the processing and overlay is happening directly on the monitor, it will be near impossible for game devs to detect that this is happening. When that's said, it should be easy to detect if the system has a monitor connected that supports this technology, so we may see games blacklisting specific monitors from competitive play.

it will be a game changer for people that dont play as good as pros do. i for one am bad at cod and get tunnel vision alot in all games. i just bought the samsung galaxy neo g8 and now want this monitor. this sucks cuz this monitor came out after i got my samsung in. ill have to wait unless someone wants to trade lol.

In realtà la parte relativa a CoD è solo una supposizione, l’unica parte realmente sviluppata (e in demo) è quella di LoL che cmq non è considerabile cheating in quanto tutte le informazioni sono prese dalla mini mappa di gioco, non vengono date informazioni relative a zone senza ward o simili. Penso che ovviamente il modo in cui questo sistema verrà introdotto negli fps competitivi sarà molto più delicato, non sarà un wallhack totale o anche cose lontanamente simili

no because something/someone needs to see the enemy for the ai to bookmark the location on your minimap. so this ai feature would only be useful if you had an initiator with recon on your team.
