My favorite thing about Bandit is when he subtly makes jokes adults can relate to. For example: Bluey: "Dad I'm bored." Bandit: "You're BORN? I know you're born, I was there when it happened.... It was a real eye opener!"

He sort of sets a high standard for dads to be just as willing to play pretend and devoted to the play as a kid. But also shows when he clearly is not it the mood and can’t be the fun dad. It’s a nice balance.

Bandit’s stint as The Magic Claw was my favorite. There were so many great lines in that episode. “It says: Two bottomless bowls of ice cream for the holder. …..You spelled “holder” wrong.”

What I find hilarious about the French chef persona he plays in “Pavlova” is that you think he’s about as affluent in French as a high school student just learning the language with all the basic phrases he spouts off that make no sense in the context at all, until he fluently says to Bluey “You are snot”. Bonjour, ou la discothèque, and très malade, everyone!
