The Shrek movies had THE best soundtracks, from the Proclaimers, to Smash Mouth, Counting Crows, Joan Jett and Bonnie Tyler, they were simply unforgettable.

I always knew 'Deliver US' is DreamWorks most powerful song that didn't have to go that hard, because it's easily one of the most epic musical opening in all 2D animated films including Disney as well.

The Prince of Egypt is one of my favourite movies, and the soundtrack is amazing. Ofra Haza doesn't get enough credit for her enigmatic vocals on "Deliver Us", sad that she didn't get a chance to see how well loved the movie has become.

Since I was very young when "Madagascar" came out, having never heard the original "I like to Move it", I presumed that it was written for the movie.

Fun fact: if you ever owned any original dreamworks films on DVD from the early 2000s, then you should know that if went on to the bonus features, you'd find Dreamworks animation jukebox, playing only one great song from the original films I'm a believer-shrek Livin a vida lorca-shrek 2 Car wash-Shark Tale I like to move it move it - Madagascar Heist-over the hedge Dancin with my myself - flushed away Kung fu fighting - kung-fu panda (just to name a few) 🎶

I kid you not when I say that EVERYBODY in the theater was dancing to "I Like to Move it" when it started playing, my mom included. And "The Plagues" is my favorite song from The Prince of Egypt.

I really felt bad that Joseph King Of Dreams kind of was forgotten by everybody that is a prequel to The Prince of Egypt, that beautiful music 'Know Better Than I' is very much like 'When You Believe' a message about faith.

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is my number one favorite DreamWorks soundtrack. What I love about it is the art of imagery, the vocals of Bryan Adams and how it captures the heart of the movie in a horse that has spirit

thanks for the memories, and the reminders! i had the spirit soundtrack playing when i drove across the country with my little boys in 2002. i've just queued it up for the music part of my day. i'm so glad you had so many prince of egypt songs on the list, and this overall reminded how insanely hard DreamWorks ALWAYS went.

They just pay to use songs of other singers. Disney WRITES their own songs, Disney owns the rights of their songs. That's why nothing can beat Disney. Other studios still can pay to use "dream works songs" bc dream works never write them and doesn't own them

The Road To El Dorado is a movie I could watch on repreat for the rest of my life and never get board of it. The characters are lovable, the jokes are hilarious, and the music leaves a spot in my heart that will never be broken.

I freaking love Car Wash since I was 5 years old! When a talent show happened at Miller, I was a rockstar. I first appeared in a car, sitting on top of it and then I danced to the song. It was awesome

The amazing thing about the cover of "I need a Hero" is that they combined it with the Shrek theme as well. You can hear the theme in the violins in the background.

YES!!!!! Sorry for being excited but I have a whole LOT of LOVE for You Know Better Than I. Just because it’s on DVD doesn’t mean it’s forgotten. It’s a gem and a beautiful treat by DreamWorks. Also, I can tell it’s the third animated movie by DreamWorks

I did move it on my birthday. When Madagascar Escape 2 Africa got released in theaters, I had my birthday with all my friends that are girls. It was a blast. It’s definitely my favorite DreamWorks memory

It should be noted that there is a soundtrack for The Road to El Dorado on iTunes, BUT that soundtrack falls flat when one compares it to the songs used in the movie. So…will DreamWorks release the actual Motion Picture Soundtrack or no, we have to live with listening to garbage?

For the Dancing and the Dreaming will always be special to my family! My brother-in-law sang this song with my sister during a choir concert in college and proposed to her at the end. I cry every time I hear it for multiple reasons, this being the biggest! ❤❤

When Kung Fu Panda music is mentioned, people always talk about Kai's theme, but the one that will always get me is the theme that plays during Po's flashback of his mother rushing him to the radish basket while Shen and his wolves are chasing her. So intense the entire way through, never letting up at all until the soul destroying scene of Po's mother holding his paws to stop him from crying, wiping her own tears with them in the process as she finally looks at him one last time with glassy eyes before she runs the other way and is eventually caught and killed by Shen.
